      Honor X80 Pro Max Overview

      Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Honor X80 Pro Max shares its aesthetic with the Honor X70 Pro Max and the Honor X9D, featuring a flat, right-angled frame and ultra-narrow 1.3mm bezels that offer an immersive, near-borderless viewing experience. It measures 8.1mm thick and weighs around 203g. The phone also retains the same circular camera module on the back with a thick silver-toned rim.

The Honor X80 Pro Max comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Additionally, it carries an SGS Gold Label 5-Star environmental drop-resistance certification, which Honor claims can withstand drops from heights of up to 3 meters. It is available in Vibrant Orange, Lightning Red, Moonlight White, and Mystic Black color options.

Moving on to the display, the Honor X80 Pro Max sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 1.5K (2788 × 1280 pixels) resolution, delivering sharp text and visuals. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations, alongside 3840Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort during extended use.

The screen can reach up to 10,000 nits of peak brightness, up from 6,000 nits on its predecessor. Moreover, like the X70 Pro Max, it also covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for vibrant colors and an immersive viewing experience.

      Camera and Battery

For optics, the Honor X80 Pro Max doesn't bring any major camera upgrades and retains the same 50MP main camera with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS. The rear camera supports up to 4K video recording. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The phone is configured with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage for apps, games, and media files.
