Under the hood, the HP Omen 16 (2024) is powered by the new Intel Core i7-14700HX processor, capable of reaching up to 5.5 GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. It has a total of 20 cores with the same 8 Performance Cores but with extra Efficiency ones (12 over 8 on the 13700HX). But since it’s a Raptor Lake refresh chip, the 14700HX misses out on LPE cores, NPU, Arc Graphics, and better efficiency.

Additionally, the Omen 16 is paired up with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060/RTX 4070 Laptop GPU with 8 GB GDDR6 dedicated memory ensures smooth graphics rendering for an enhanced gaming experience.
