Huawei has a pretty decent lineup in the form of the P40 series waiting for us as soon as the lockdown is over. The three phones in this series – P40, P40 Pro, and P40 Pro+ all seem like an absolute beast of a smartphone. However, the one thing that might restrain people from buying these devices is the lack of Google Play Services. Well, Huawei does have its custom AppGallery instead of the Play Store. But suffice to say, it has failed to appeal to many out there. However, the Huawei AppGallery now has over 70 Nepali Apps. And I do believe it will boost the already existing popularity of Huawei in Nepal.

Huawei locked horns with Google last year, and its effect has been devastating. They have had to remove access to Google Apps from their devices. Though they had devised a workaround regarding this issue initially, the loophole was quickly blocked. Since then, Huawei has been work on improving its proprietary AppGallery for the wider audience. And my oh my have they done a great job with it!

Huawei AppGallery currently has 73 Nepali apps in it. Moreover, this includes most of the major apps too. Thus, I believe that these integrated apps will only serve to increase the popularity of Huawei in Nepal and also increase the sales of their smartphone. The following are some of the major Nepali apps that are currently available in Huawei AppGallery.

Nepali Apps on Huawei AppGallery

These are some of the apps that we use daily and its integration in the AppGallery will certainly come as a relief for the current and potential Huawei customers. Having said that, we are too accustomed to using Google Services. For instance, apps such as Gmail and YouTube have become an integral part of our lives. We are heavily dependent on them be it for professional reasons or entertainment. Therefore, their absence in a Huawei smartphone will be sorely missed. Yet, the addition of these Nepali apps is certainly a step in the right direction, especially for the Nepali market.
