On the 25th of September, Huawei organized a launch event where they revealed the new tablet, the Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2. Notably, this tablet is reportedly powered by the Kirin 9000s processor typically found in flagship devices. Design and Display

The Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 features a 13.2-inch OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1000 nits of peak brightness, a 2880 x 1920 pixel resolution, and a pixel density of 262 ppi. The device boasts a 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and adopts a 3:2 aspect ratio.

The tablet has a slim profile, measuring 5.5mm in thickness and weighing 580 grams. Its display boasts thin bezels. Additionally, it supports a stylus and a detachable keyboard. Huawei ships this device in three different colors: Black, White, and Green.

Performance and Memory

Huawei has not officially disclosed the chipset used in the tablet. Nevertheless, there are rumors indicating that it might be powered by the Kirin 9000s chipset, which is also found in their recently released Mate 60 series.

It supports Wi-Fi connectivity only and lacks cellular capabilities. In terms of memory, it offers two RAM configurations, 12GB and 16GB, as well as three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Software-wise, the tablet runs on Harmony OS 4.

Battery, Camera, and rest of the features

The tablet features a circular module that houses a dual-camera system; the primary camera is a 13MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture, paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. For selfies, you get a 16MP front camera, placed within a notch cutout on the horizontal side.

Additionally, the tablet boasts a 10,100mAh battery and supports 88W wired fast charging. Huawei is also introducing a new third-generation M-Pencil stylus and a new Huawei Smart Magnetic keyboard, both available to purchase separately. The MatePad Pro 13.2 uses a total of six speakers and four microphones for I/O audio.
