Infinix Hot 30 goes official with 90Hz display, Helio G88 processor

Following the launch of Infinix Hot 30i, the regular Infinix Hot 30 is now official as well; alongside Hot 30i NFC and Hot 30 Free Fire. And in this article, we’ll be learning more about the Infinix Hot 30, along with its features, official specs, availability, and expected price in Nepal.

Design and Display

Infinix Hot 30 has a boxy shape, measures 8.4mm thick, and weighs 196 grams. There are three color choices for this smartphone: Surfing Green, Racing Black, and Sonic White.

Moving on to the display, Infinix Hot 30 has a 6.78″ FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Additionally, this screen covers 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and has a peak brightness of 600 nits.

Performance

Powering the Infinix Hot 30 is MediaTek’s Helio G88 (12nm) chipset. Two Cortex-A75 (2.0 GHz) and six Cortex-A55 (1.8 GHz) cores make up the octa-core CPU in this process. Then there is an integrated Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphics.

Infinix has paired this with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. You can also extend the storage using a micro SD card that has a dedicated slot in the SIM tray. It even supports virtual RAM to extend the system memory to up to 16GB. Infinix ships this phone with its in-house XOS 12.6 based on Android 13.

Cameras

Coming to the camera department, Infinix Hot 30 brings a dual-rear camera setup including a 50MP f/1.6 sensor and an unspecified secondary camera. An 8MP selfie camera is concealed inside a hole-punch cutout on the front. The front camera can only capture 1080p 30 fps videos, while the back camera can shoot up to 2K videos at 30 fps.

Infinix Hot 30 is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. In terms of audio, there are dual-stereo speakers with DTS audio support. As for wireless connectivity, the phone has dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth, and NFC.
