iQOO Neo9S Pro+ launched in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

iQOO has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Neo9S Pro+, which was launched alongside the Watch GT and the TWS 1i earbuds. This article discusses the latest iQOO Neo9S Pro+, including its expected price in Nepal and specifications.

iQOO Neo9S Pro+ Overview

Display and Design

The smartphone boasts a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The screen offers a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and can reach a brightness of up to 1400 nits. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display. The iQOO Neo9S Pro+ is available in Buff Blue, Star White, and Fighting Black colors.

Performance

The new model features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, replacing the Dimensity 9300+ found in the earlier version. This device can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device runs on Android 14 with OriginOS 4.

Battery and Charging

The iQOO Neo9S Pro+ comes with a 5,500 mAh battery, an improvement over the 5,160 mAh battery in the Neo9S Pro. The phone continues to support 120W wired charging, which can charge the device from 1% to 70% in 17 minutes and fully charge it in 28 minutes. Additionally, the new model supports reverse-wired charging.

Camera

The main camera setup includes a 50MP IMX921 sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The main sensor has a size of 1/1.56 inches. The camera features LED flash, panorama, and HDR capabilities. It supports video recording in 8K, 4K, and 1080p resolutions with gyro-EIS. The front camera is a 16MP sensor that can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

The iQOO Neo9S Pro+ starts at CNY 2,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The top model, with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, is priced at CNY 4,099. If it ever makes to Nepal, we expect the iQOO Neo9S Pro+ price in Nepal to start at no less than NPR 75,000.
