Mahalaxmi Mobile Pvt Ltd, the official Itel phones distributor in Nepal has launched the Itel S23 smartphone in Nepal. Stepping above the usual design, the S23 arrives with a color-changing back and a stylish design. Design and Display

Unlike other Itel phones, the Itel S23 boasts an attractive design. The phone adopts a boxy form factor with flat frames and curved edges. Available in two colors: Starry Black and Mystery White, it has a color changing back on the latter one, when exposed to UV light or sunlight. Besides that, the circular camera module on the back sports a flashy looks.

Moving to the front, you are greeted with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and 267 PPI. You do get a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate here.

Performance

Under the hood, the smartphone packs a Unisoc T606 SoC. This Octa-core processor is fabbed on a 12nm process and features two ARM Cortex A75 cores at up to 1.6 GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.6 GHz. Taking the graphics work is a Mali G57 MP1 GPU at 650 MHz. Itel has paired the chip with 8GB RAM and 128GB of expandable internal storage. While on the software side, the phone boots on Android 12.

Camera

Getting to the optics, the S23 rocks a dual camera setup. The primary sensor is a 50MP shooter with an f/1.6 aperture and HD photo mode. And the second camera is a QVGA sensor. Meanwhile, on the front, an 8MP unit is present on the waterdrop notch for snapping selfies and taking video calls.
