Lava International, better known as just “Lava”, has launched another one of its affordable offerings. This launch comes just days after the Indian multinational tech company launched the Yuva 3 Pro. As the name suggests, this phone packs a 5G chipset alongside other interesting features. This article will discuss the Lava Storm 5G, its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and more!
Lava Storm 5G Overview
Design and Display
The Lava Storm 5G is an affordable phone, and as such it looks like one. The design looks a bit outdated with three independent cutouts, two of which are for the camera, and one for the flash. Moreover, the Lava Storm 5G comes with an all-plastic body and comes in two colour options: Gale Green, and Thunder Black.
In the meantime, a 6.78” IPS LCD panel greets us up front. It is a 2.5D curved screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Furthermore, it boasts an FHD+ resolution with 1,080 x 2,460 pixels and 396 PPI pixel density. Lastly, it offers a colour depth of 16.7 million.
Performance
The Lava Storm 5G relies on the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 for its processing duties. It is an octa-core processor following the 6nm lithography. Furthermore, it offers a maximum clock speed of 2.4 GHz with its two ARM Cortex-A76 cores.
This Lava offering comes with 8 gigs of memory, and 128GB storage. Both the memory and storage can be further extended by 8GB and 1TB respectively. It also comes with Android 13 on the software front. The company proudly says that this phone will have no ads or bloatware.
