CES 2026 has been a landmark event for Lenovo, and they just revealed something none of us had previously seen. The tech giant's absolute showstopper was a "proof of concept" that challenges the very definition of a laptop: the Legion Pro Rollable Concept. This article covers everything you need to know about Lenovo's latest rollable tech, specifications, and potential availability
Lenovo Legion Pro Rollable Concept Overview

The 24-inch Arena Mode
The Legion Pro Rollable is built around the chassis of a standard 16-inch Legion Pro 7i, but it hides a massive secret under its hood. The device uses a dual-motor, tension-based design, a PureSight OLED display, and it expands horizontally to transform the device into three distinct modes: a) Focus Mode (16"), b) Tactical Mode (21.5"), and c) Arena Mode (24"). All of these modes have different features. The first one is for a 16:10 laptop experience, while the Tactical mode gives you a wider aspect ratio, and finally, the Arena mode gives you the full ultra-wide expansion, which is also specifically designed for esports athletes.

AI Integration
To make sure the screen doesn't wear out, Lenovo has also utilized low-friction materials and a dual-motor system that essentially minimizes vibration. Beyond the hardware, the device is a showcase for Lenovo AI Engine+ (powered by LA1 and LA3 cores). The laptop includes features like AI Scene Detection that can intelligently zoom into key areas (like mini-maps) and display them in a corner. Other than that, it also has Smart FPS, which dynamically tunes the RTX 50-series GPU to maintain peak performance during the expansion process.
Legion Pro Rollable Availability
As of now, the Legion Pro Rollable is a "Proof of Concept," meaning it is not yet a commercial product available for retail purchase. Stay tuned for more developments.
