Moto G77 Power unveiled with 7,000mAh battery, Dimensity 6400, and 120Hz display

Motorola has officially introduced the Moto G77 Power in India as the latest addition to its G-series lineup. With the G77 Power, Motorola's shift is focused on long battery life instead of chasing flagship-level performance. Moto G77 Power packs a massive 7,00mAh battery while also offering a 120Hz display, durable design, and more. In this article, I will discuss this phone in detail, including the expected Moto G77 Power price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Battery and Camera

Starting off, the battery should be the main highlight of the Moto G77 Power, as it packs a massive 7000mAh cell that Motorola claims will last up to 59 hours on a single charge when used casually. Here, Motorola is also offering 30W TurboPower fast charging on the G77 Power to quickly top up your phone's battery alongside the 6W wired reverse charging support. 

For Photography, this phone opts for a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP f/1.8 Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with Quad Pixel technology alongside an 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it houses a 32MP f/2.2 selfie camera inside a centered punch-hole cutout. Motorola has also included Moto AI-powered imaging features like AI Photo Enhancement Engine and Auto Night Vision to improve image quality in different lighting conditions. So you should expect decent images in both good light and low light conditions from G77 Power. 

Additionally, all three cameras can record up to 2K videos at 30 fps in this phone, while the rear panel also supports dual capture. Besides all, it also has a 2-in-1 light sensor to accurately detect flicker and ambient light to give better image color. 

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Moto G77 Power uses MediaTek's 6nm Dimensity 6400 chipset that should be enough for handling everyday tasks, casual gaming, and multitasking without struggling much. This is the same chip we have seen in the G37 Power launched few months back in India. In terms of the design, Moto G77 Power retains its signature look in “PANTONE Impenetrable”, “PANTONE Nautical Blue”, “PANTONE Laurel Green”, and “PANTONE Fuchsia Red” finishes. It also has the IP64 rating against dust and water so that your phone remains protected from accidental spills of water. This phone also has MIL-STD certifications along with the Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection in the front.  

Up front, Moto G77 Power opts for a 6.72-inch LCD with FHD+ resolution and 8-bit color depth so that you get sharp and vibrant visuals while watching content on this phone. Apart from that, this phone also has a 1050 nits high-brightness mode, which should be enough to give good outdoor visibility even when using it in harsh sunlight.
