Motorola Edge 2024 launched in US with pOLED display and SD 7s Gen 2 Chip

Motorola has launched its latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge (2024), in US. It is the successor to the Edge (2023), which was released in late 2023. In this article, we will discuss the upcoming Motorola Edge 2024, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and more.

The Motorola Edge (2024) features a 6.6-inch pOLED display. It has a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. The display supports 10-bit colors and can reach up to 1300 nits of peak brightness. It is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.

Performance

Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor, the Edge (2024) has a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz. Moreover, It uses the Adreno 710 GPU. The phone includes 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Meanwhile, the Motorola Edge (2024) runs on Android 14.

Camera System

The primary camera on the Motorola Edge (2024) has a 50MP Sony LYT-700C sensor with an f/1.88 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS). The secondary camera is a 13 MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture, also capable of macro shots. The front camera features a 32 MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and Quad Pixel Technology for improved selfies.
