The battery upgrade on this phone is decent… but will you actually enjoy using it?

Motorola brings the new Moto G37 Power alongside the Moto G87 and Moto Razr 70 series. The new Moto G37 Power looks very similar to its sibling, the Moto G37. Here, the only differences you notice in this phone are its build and battery capacity. With this new member of the G-series, Motorola is targeting mid-range users who are looking for a phone with a massive battery that lasts through day-to-day use. In this article, I will explain the details of the Motorola Moto G37 Power, including its expected price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.
Motorola Moto G37 Power Overview
Build and Display
As I mentioned, Motorola has kept the Moto G37 Power on the heavier, bulkier side compared to its sibling, the Moto G37. It measures around 8.8mm in thickness and weighs 215 grams, which might create heft in the hand in long-term use for some users. You get to choose between “Phatone Capri”, “Pantone Impenetrable”, and “Pantone Nautical Blue” color options. For ingress support, this phone has an IP64 rating against water splashes along with MIL-STD certification.

Talking about the display, the Moto G37 Power features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD panel with HD+ resolution. It is quite disappointing to see that the mid-range phones have quite low resolution. A 120Hz refresh rate is the sweet spot for smooth scrolling. You might not struggle much with outdoor use with this phone, as it has a 1050-nit HBM mode. These numbers look quite decent for a mid-range phone. Interestingly, you can also use the water touch technology here. This feature should give a decent response to your fingers even when water droplets are present on the screen.
Camera and Battery
Moving on to optics, the Moto G37 Power has a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with quad-pixel technology, as we saw in the Moto G37. This quad technology should make noticeable benefits for low-light photography, providing better sharpness and vibrancy. For selfies and video calls, you get an 8MP front camera. With this camera setup, you can shoot 2K video at 30 fps.

As I said earlier, you can see the massive upgrade in this new phone, with a 7000mAh battery. Here, they are also providing the 30W wired fast charging for quick support. Motorola also claimed to give up to 78 hours on a single charge. Along with that, they claim battery health will be restricted to 80% battery even after years of use. This phone should be the perfect pick for those looking for a device that lasts a day.

Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Moto G37 Power features the Dimensity 6300 SoC built on a 6nm processor. This is the entry-level chip, suitable for casual scrolling on the phone. This might be another trade-off with this phone, as this chip is quite outdated by 2026 standards. You can go with a better option for casual gaming performance, like the Infinix GT 30.

Memory-wise, it comes with 4GB of RAM that can be virtually expanded to 8GB, and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. For software, it also upgraded to the new Hello UX on top of Android 16. Although I don't find any details about this phone's updates, we can expect up to 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security patches for this device.

Motorola Moto G37 Power Price in Nepal and Availability
Although Motorola has confirmed the Moto G37's launch in Europe, it has not revealed official pricing details. As it is marketed as a mid-range phone, we can expect the price to be higher than the Moto G37's and lower than the Moto G87's. If it launches here, we expect the Moto G37 Power price in Nepal to start at somewhere around NPR 38,999.
