At CES 2023, MSI refreshed some of its most popular and powerful laptops. One of them is the MSI Titan GT77 HX, which now includes the latest Intel and Nvidia chips. And it is the world’s first gaming laptop to arrive with a 4K 144Hz Mini LED display. Here, we will go over the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the MSI Titan GT77 Hx (2023) in Nepal.

MSI Titan GT77 HX (2023) Overview:

Design, Display

The Titan GT77 HX is visually identical to its predecessor. That is an all-black finish with a protrusion behind the display that houses most of the cooling system. The vent is accompanied by RGB Mystic Light, which allows users to create different styles based on their moods. The MSI shield logo on the lid is also RGB-illuminated.

You can configure the lighting with the SteelSeries GG app; if complex effects are your thing. The application also controls the per-key RGB backlighting on the keyboard and can be used to remap keys and create macros.

In that regard, the laptop includes a Cherry MX Ultra Low Profile mechanical keyboard with a two-piece keycap structure and a gold cross-point contact system for crisp tactile feedback.

The laptop has a 17.3-inch 4K 144Hz Mini LED display, making it the first laptop to have this specification. It has a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and 1,000 local dimming zones for improved contrast and black levels. There is also a 240Hz IPS screen option that comes with QHD resolution.

The MSI Titan GT77 HX is a desktop replacement powered by a 24-core Core i9-13980HX processor. Likewise, users can choose between the RTX 4090 with 16GB GDDR6 VRAM or the RTX 4080 with 12GB GDDR6 VRAM.

Additionally, MSI’s OverBoost Ultra Technology enables all 8 P-cores on the Core i9-13980HX to reach a maximum boost clock of 5.2 GHz for the CPU and 175W for the GPU.  MSI Titan GT77 HX (2023) Cooling

As for the cooling, it comes with a “Titan Cooling” system consisting of four fans, eight pipes, and six exhausts. One of these connecting tubes crosses the CPU and GPU for quick heat dissipation. And the other pipe conducts the heat from the GPU to the cooling fins of the CPU, maximizing performance for both CPU and GPU.

In terms of memory, the MSI Titan GT77 HX has four DDR5 SO-DIMM slots for a total of 128 GB of memory. And for storage, there are three M.2 slots, one of which can accept a PCIe Gen 5 SSD and the other two only PCIe Gen 4 SSDs.
