      • Samsung has updated its Insta Finance scheme in Nepal, effective from October 15, 2026, with new EMI options for eligible Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

      • Eligible Samsung A-series and flagship phones offer 12-month EMI plans with 40% down payment and 0% customer interest.

      • The Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 series offer a 36-month EMI option with a 20% down payment and 10.99% interest, limited to eligible HFL loyal consumers who receive an SMS notification.

      • Eligible Samsung smartphones priced above NPR 24,999 and tablets priced above NPR 19,999 can qualify for the financing scheme.

      Samsung Insta Finance Scheme Overview

      Samsung EMI Scheme in Nepal

The updated Samsung Insta Finance scheme is effective from October 15, 2026. You can use this financing option to purchase eligible Samsung smartphones priced above NPR 24,999 and tablets priced above NPR 19,999.

Here's a breakdown of the different EMI options available under the revised scheme.

      Samsung A-series Phones Get 12 / 24-Month EMI Options

For eligible Samsung A-series phones, including the A5x, A3x, A2x, A1x, and A0x lineups, you can choose a 12-month EMI plan with a 40% down payment. Samsung is offering a 1.50% interest rate subsidy, bringing the customer's interest rate down to 0%.

If you want a longer repayment period, eligible A-series smartphones priced above NPR 50,000 can also qualify for a 24-month EMI plan. This option requires the same 40% down payment, but the customer interest rate increases to 7.99%.

Samsung Flagship Phones Also Get Interest-Free EMI

Samsung's flagship smartphones are also eligible for two financing options. The 12-month plan requires a 40% down payment and comes with a 0% customer interest rate, supported by a 0.50% interest rate subsidy.

You can also choose a 24-month EMI plan with the same 40% down payment. However, the customer interest rate increases to 7.99%. This gives you more time to pay for a flagship phone, although the longer repayment period comes with an additional interest cost.

      Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 Get 36-Month EMI Option

The most notable change is the new 36-month EMI option for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Flip8 series. Unlike the other plans, this scheme requires only a 20% down payment, making the initial payment lower.

However, the option comes with a 10.99% customer interest rate and is available only to HFL loyal consumers who receive an SMS notification. So, not everyone will be eligible for this longer repayment plan.

Samsung Phones Above NPR 50,000 Qualify for 24-Month EMI

Samsung is also extending 24-month EMI eligibility to smartphone models priced above NPR 50,000. The Galaxy A17 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is set to be added to this category.

The applicable interest rate and down payment will depend on the phone's segment and the financing scheme available for that model.

      What About Samsung Tablets?

For Samsung tablets priced above NPR 19,999, financing will be available under the revised scheme. The interest rate subsidy for tablets will remain the same as that offered for the Galaxy A1x and A0x series.

This means the applicable EMI terms will depend on the eligible tablet model and the financing option available at the time of purchase.

How Affordable Is Samsung's New EMI Scheme?

While many smartphone brands offer EMI options for nine or twelve months, Samsung's updated Insta Finance scheme gives eligible customers a longer repayment period. You can choose a 12-month EMI plan for eligible A-series and flagship phones, while selected models qualify for a 24-month option. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 series get a 36-month EMI option for eligible HFL loyal consumers.

This longer repayment period means you don't have to pay as much every month, which can make an expensive Samsung phone easier to afford. For example, if you're buying a phone worth NPR 100,000, you can pay a smaller amount upfront and spread the remaining cost over three years under the eligible foldable scheme.

For a clearer picture, here's an estimated breakdown for a NPR 100,000 phone under the 36-month EMI option.

      Final Thoughts

The updated Samsung Insta Finance scheme gives you more flexibility when buying a Galaxy smartphone or tablet, especially if you prefer spreading the cost over several months. The 0% interest option for 12 months is a good choice for eligible A-series and flagship phones, while the 36-month plan for the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 series offers a lower upfront payment. However, the longer repayment period comes with a higher interest rate, and the foldable offer is limited to selected HFL loyal consumers.
