Esports Association of Nepal (ESAN), the official esports governing body, is organizing the second-ever National Esports Tournament with a mouth-watering prize pool and lots of excitement. Being held at Dasarth Rangashala from February 20 to 22, this three-day event brings together Nepal’s top eSports athletes to duke it out in front of a live audience.

This eSports tournament is being held at Tripureshwor with a live audience. eSport Gamers from all around the country will arrive on the 19th to duke it out in the final rounds of their respective games!
You can expect some intense LAN action featuring popular titles like:

🪖 PUBG Mobile
⚔️ Mobile Legends
⚽ eFootball ft. Galaxy S25 Ultra
This event will include 8 players for E-Football, 16 teams in PUBG, 2 teams in Mobile Legends, 4 players each in Dota 2, and Valorant! All the E-football players will use the brand-new S25 Ultra to play competitive games.
Unlike the first National Esports Championship held last June, this year’s tournament has expanded to include PC titles like Valorant and DOTA 2 alongside the popular mobile titles.
Moreover, the total price has more than doubled the second time with a pot of a whopping 25 lakh rupees (from 12 lakhs). DOTA, Valorant, Mobile Legends, e Football, and Cosplay have a combined price pool of 15 lakh rupees, while PUBG Mobile players will enjoy a lavish 10 lakhs to their names!

Beyond the Games: Concert and Cosplay
Since it’s a live event, you can attend to watch and support your favourite players and games. And if you get bored or whatnot, there are also COSPLAY and MUSIC events featuring popular artists like COBWEB, THE ELEMENTS, ROCKHEADS, VEK, YABESH, DONG, PAHELO BATTI MUNI, and many more!
Ticketing and Support
You can attend the venue from 10 AM onward by purchasing tickets via Khalti. Ticket prices vary, but they range from Rs. 750 to Rs. 1,999, with the latter being a 3-day pass!
If not, you can also support the players and your favourite eSport title by streaming it on YouTube. The live stream will be held on the ‘Nepal Plays‘ channel.
Esports National Championship 2025: Conclusion
It’s great to see the eSports scene fostering in Nepal and we hope the trend continues in the future with even larger prize pools and more games. With a dedicated body under the wing of the government, eSports has a thriving opportunity to expand here. However, there are still many technical and logistical challenges when it comes to competing in the global eSports scene. So, it’s still a long journey to worldwide recognition but grassroots development like this has always been the key fundamental to prominence in all kinds of sports.
