NVIDIA has finally unveiled the RTX 5080, a GPU designed for high-performance gaming and AI tasks. In this article we will discuss everything about the latest NVIDIA RTX 5080, including its expected price in Nepal

NVIDIA RTX 5080 Overview

Cores and Memory

The RTX 5080 has 10,752 CUDA cores. It runs at a base clock of 2.30 GHz and can boost up to 2.62 GHz. It features 16 GB of GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit memory interface, providing fast data handling for demanding applications.

The GPU uses 360W of power. A minimum 850W power supply is recommended, with support for three 8-pin PCIe connectors or one 450W PCIe Gen 5 cable.

Display and Connectivity

The RTX 5080 supports 4K at 480Hz or 8K at 120Hz. It includes three DisplayPort 2.0 outputs and one HDMI 3.0 port. It also supports PCIe Gen 5 and Resizable BAR for improved performance.

Performance and features

The GPU achieves up to 242 fps in Cyberpunk 2077 at 4K resolution with ultra settings. DLSS 4 helps boost frame rates without sacrificing image quality. The RTX 5080 supports NVIDIA Broadcast for noise removal in video calls. It also includes NVIDIA G-SYNC for smooth, tear-free gaming and speeds up video editing in software like Adobe Premiere Pro.

With 5th generation Tensor Cores, the RTX 5080 accelerates machine learning tasks and works well with programs like Stable Diffusion XL and Adobe Premiere Pro. Meanwhile, NVIDIA Reflex 2 reduces latency in games. In Overwatch, it achieves 9ms latency, and in The Finals, it achieves 16ms.
