Soundcore AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro Launched With THUS AI Chip and Open-Ear Design!

Soundcore has expanded its AeroClip series with two new open-ear earbuds, the AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro, at IFA 2026. Both models continue the clip-on design of the original AeroClip, but this time, Soundcore is putting more emphasis on AI and call quality.

While the AeroClip 2 focuses on improving everyday listening and calls, the AeroClip 2 Pro takes things a step further with built-in recording and AI-powered note-taking features. In this article, I will discuss everything you need to know about the Soundcore AeroClip 2 series, including its specifications, availability, and expected price in Nepal.

Soundcore AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro Overview

Design and Build

The AeroClip 2 and AeroClip 2 Pro share Soundcore’s open-ear clip-on design, with the earbuds sitting around the ear rather than inside the ear canal. Both models use the company’s Ergo-Fit approach, which is designed to provide a comfortable fit while keeping the ears open to surrounding sounds.

On the AeroClip 2, Soundcore uses a flexible silicone C-Bridge that is 35% softer than the previous generation and can withstand more than 10,000 stretches. The earbuds are also IP57-rated for dust and water resistance. Meanwhile, the AeroClip 2 Pro combines the same ear-clip form factor with an open acoustic architecture.

Audio

For audio, the AeroClip 2 features a 12mm dual-magnetic driver and supports LDAC, alongside AAC and SBC codecs. Soundcore also brings its HearID personalized sound tuning and 3D surround sound to the earbuds.

The AeroClip 2 Pro, meanwhile, uses 11mm dual-diaphragm drivers with LDAC support. The Pro is therefore positioned more as the premium option, with its hardware and AI features aimed at users who want more than basic open-ear listening.

THUS AI and Call Quality

One of the biggest upgrades across the new AeroClip series is Soundcore’s THUS AI chip.

Since open-ear earbuds naturally let surrounding sounds in, keeping calls clear can be challenging in noisy environments. The AeroClip 2 addresses this with the THUS chip and a six-sensor system comprising four microphones and two voice-pickup units. This setup is designed to separate the user's voice from surrounding noise for clearer calls.

The AeroClip 2 also supports additional AI features through the Soundcore app, including AI Translation and AI Recording.

AeroClip 2 Pro: AI Recording and Note-Taking

This is where the AeroClip 2 Pro becomes considerably more interesting. Powered by Anker’s THUS AI audio chip, it is the brand’s first open-ear clip-on earbuds with a built-in AI note-taking feature.

With one-tap recording, the AeroClip 2 Pro can capture conversations during in-person and online meetings, as well as both sides of a phone call. The recordings can then be transferred to a connected phone or tablet, where its AI tools can transcribe the content and generate summaries. Users can also search through information from previous meetings.

So, rather than simply adding another AI assistant to the earbuds, Soundcore is positioning the AeroClip 2 Pro as an AI note-taking tool that happens to be an open-ear pair of earbuds.

Connectivity and Smart Features

The AeroClip 2 supports Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connectivity, allowing it to stay connected to two devices at once. It also supports Apple's MFi certification, which brings features such as real-time translation and easier integration across Apple devices.

The standard AeroClip 2 also replaces the first-generation model’s touch controls with physical buttons for easier control.

Battery and Charging

The AeroClip 2 offers up to 8 hours of playback from the earbuds, while the charging case extends the total runtime to 32 hours. Soundcore says a 10-minute charge can provide up to 4 hours of playback. The case also supports both USB-C and wireless charging.

The AeroClip 2 Pro is rated for up to 10 hours of playback from the earbuds and up to 30 hours with the charging case. A 10-minute charge provides up to 3 hours of listening time.

The Soundcore AeroClip 2 will launch in the US on September 22 at a starting price of USD 169.99. While there is no information about its launch in the local market, if it is announced here, we can expect the Soundcore AeroClip 2 price in Nepal to be around NPR 25,599. 

The AeroClip 2 Pro is the more premium model, but its exact launch date remains unconfirmed. Soundcore is expected to release it later in 2026. Its pricing has also been reported at around $230, although the exact availability may vary by market.
