Soundcore has officially introduced the Space 2 Pro as the successor to the Space 2, alongside the new AeroClip 2 series at IFA 2026. The new headphones bring Soundcore’s proprietary THUS AI chip to its over-ear lineup. They also feature adaptive ANC, improved voice isolation for calls, Hi-Res audio with LDAC, and up to 60 hours of playback on a single charge. Soundcore Space 2 Pro Overview

Design and Comfort

Starting with the design, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro retains the over-ear form factor of its predecessor and comes with a foldable design for easier storage. It weighs 264g, the same as the Space 2. The headphones are available in Midnight Grey, Linen White, and Jet Black color options.

Moving on to comfort, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro features protein-leather earcups with slow-rebound memory foam, providing a softer fit while helping with passive noise isolation. Meanwhile, the adjustable headband makes it easier to find a comfortable fit, especially during longer listening sessions. 

Likewise, the physical controls on the earcups handle playback and volume adjustments. The headphones also support on-device AI voice control, giving users a hands-free way to manage playback and other functions when reaching for the buttons isn't convenient.

Audio and ANC

For audio, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro features a 35mm driver and supports Hi-Res Audio with LDAC for higher-quality wireless playback. It also gets HearID 5.0, which creates a personalized sound profile based on the user’s hearing. Spatial Audio is also supported for a more immersive listening experience, although it cannot be used together with LDAC. 

For noise cancellation, the Soundcore Space 2 Pro features Adaptive ANC 3.0, which adjusts the level of noise cancellation based on the fit and surrounding environment. Users can also choose between different ANC levels or switch to Transparency mode when they need to hear what is happening around them.

Call Quality

For calls, the Space 2 Pro uses an 8-microphone array alongside Soundcore’s THUS AI chip to reduce background noise and isolate the user’s voice in real time. The voice processing is handled directly on the headphones, rather than relying on cloud processing, allowing the headset to separate the user’s voice from surrounding sounds during calls.

This can be particularly useful in noisy environments such as open-plan offices, busy cafes, or during daily commutes, where background conversations and other surrounding sounds can otherwise affect call clarity.

Battery and Connectivity

On the battery front, the Space 2 Pro offers up to 60 hours of playback with ANC turned off. With ANC enabled, battery life drops to around 30 hours, while using ANC with LDAC reduces it to around 20 hours. These figures can vary slightly depending on features such as Wear Detection, which reduces the claimed runtime to around 28 hours with ANC and 18 hours with ANC + LDAC.

The headphones also support fast charging, with a five-minute charge providing around eight hours of playback, while a full charge takes about two hours.

For connectivity, the Space 2 Pro supports Bluetooth 6.1 and Multipoint, allowing it to connect to two devices simultaneously. It also supports LDAC for high-resolution wireless audio, although LDAC is not available on iOS devices.
