OPPO has expanded its F-series with two new phones: the OPPO F33 and F33 Pro. They're both powered by the same Dimensity 6360 MAX SoC, fueled by a 7,000mAh battery, and they have the exact same display as well. The only difference is that the "Pro" brings a different front-facing camera and a slightly different design. Let me tell you more.
OPPO F33 and F33 Pro Overview
Camera and Battery
I wanna start with their camera—and here—both the OPPO F33 and F33 Pro are rocking a 50MP f/1.8 main camera and a 2MP f/2.4 monochrome unit at the back. The F33 Pro has a circular flash module, which looks similar to the “Aura Light” we've seen on Vivo's V series phones, although it's unclear if the F33 Pro's flash has similar functionality to take better portraits. Other than this, the “Pro” model also brings a 50MP selfie camera compared to a 16MP unit on the regular F33.
Regarding batteries, both of these phones have massive 7000mAh batteries that OPPO claims to last for a day or more on casual use. It is paired with 80W wired fast charging for quick battery top-ups. Moreover, they also support 55W PPS (Programmable Power Supply) if you've got a compatible PPS charger lying around.
Design and Display
As for the design, the biggest differentiators between these two are their color options and the camera module. You see, the OPPO F33 has a squarish camera island and a regular flash module. Whereas the OPPO F33 Pro has a rectangular island (similar to the iPhone 17 Pro Max) and a circular LED flash, as I mentioned before.

As you can see from the image above, the OPPO F33 comes in “Forest Green” and “Pearl White” finishes, while the F33 Pro comes in three colors: “Starry Blue”, “Passion Red”, and “Misty Forest”.
They both weigh around the same as well (at roughly 190 grams), while OPPO has also secured IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K dust and water resistance for these two. OPPO even claims the F33 duo has passed the MIL-STD-810H test to survive accidental drops, shocks, and everyday wear and tear. So yeah, durability shouldn't be a concern with the F33 series at all.
Up front, you're looking at a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel on these two with an FHD+ resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit (1 billion+) colors. They also have a pretty good 88% screen-to-body ratio, giving you enough viewing space. Moreover, I'm also pretty happy with how bright they can get outdoors, thanks to 1,400 nits of HBM brightness.

Performance and Software
And powering the OPPO F33 series is MediaTek's Dimensity 6360 MAX (6nm) chip. While that name sure sounds quite intimidating, you should know that it's a simple rebrand of Dimensity 6300 and nothing more. The same Dimensity 6300 chip that we've seen in a handful of phones like the Galaxy A16 5G, Realme C100 5G, Vivo V50 Lite, and more.
That means you can expect fairly smooth day-to-day work, although it could disappoint if you play a lot of popular games like PUBG and Free Fire, since you'll only be able to play them at low to medium settings. Memory-wise, both phones can be configured with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Interestingly enough, the OPPO F33 series accepts a microSD card in case the built-in storage isn't sufficient for your needs.
On the software front, they both run on ColorOS 16 on top of Android 16. I didn't find any official information about OPPO's software commitment for these two, but from past experience, we're expecting up to 2 major OS updates and at least 3 years of security patches here.
