Oppo announced its first foldable phone, the Find N, at last year’s Inno Day. Today is the last day of Oppo’s 2022 annual event, and the company just launched its successor, the Find N2. That’s not all — there is a new flip phone, set to compete against the likes of Galaxy Z Flip 4, Pocket S, and Razr 2022. Here, we will discuss the full specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Oppo Find N2 and N2 Flip in Nepal.
Oppo Find N2 Overview:
Design and Display
Design-wise, the new Oppo Find N2 is a slimmer and lighter version of its predecessor. Oppo has reduced the thickness from 73mm to 72.6mm, while there is a massive jump in the weight category from 275 gm to 233 grams.
Oppo has also vastly improved the hinge system on its second-gen foldable. The company has reduced the number of moving parts from 138 to 100. As a result, the volume and the weight are down by 37% and 36%, respectively. It can open at any angle between 45° and 125°.
Furthermore, Find N2 now uses composite carbon fiber to support the folding display, making it 34% lighter and the crease 67% less visible. The 5.54-inch external display is the same size as last year. That said, Oppo has changed the aspect ratio by reducing the bezels. Likewise, the screen is smoother with the 120Hz refresh rate and can get as bright as 1,350 nits.
Over on the inside, you get an even brighter display that peaks at 1,550 nits. The 7.1” WUSXGA screen has the same refresh rate as the cover display, but since it is an LTPO AMOLED, it can dial it down to 1Hz to save energy when needed, but it’s not anything new. What’s new is the added support for Oppo Stylus, though you will have to buy it separately as it is not part of the Find N2 bundle.
Oppo has also strengthened on the photography front. The 50MP primary now uses an upgraded Sony IMX890 with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. It also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots. Furthermore, Oppo has replaced the 13MP ultrawide camera with a massive 48MP sensor. The telephoto module gets a similar upgrade, jumping from 13MP to 32MP. For selfies, you get 32MP snapper on external and internal screens. Oppo Find N2 also benefits from the in-house MariSilicon X imaging NPU and Hasselblad color calibration.
Performance and Battery
We do get a better processor than the Snapdragon 888 on the original Find N. However, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still not the latest flagship chip in Qualcomm’s arsenal. The chip is paired with up to 15GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Oppo Find N2 ships with Android 13 out of the box with ColorOS on top.
The battery has seen a slight increase to 4,520mAh, while it now charges a lot faster at 67W. So, you can expect a fully charged phone in just 42.5 minutes.

Oppo Find N2 Overview:
Design and Display
Oppo Find N2 Flip is the company’s first clamshell-style folding phone with a massive 3.2” cover OLED panel. Even the size alone makes the Find N2 Flip stand out among the competition. But Oppo has gone a step further by customizing its ColorOS 13.0 to use the extra screen real estate. With the external screen, you can take calls, check your schedules, take calls and even use it for quick responses using custom messages, emojis, and voice-to-text transcription.
Oppo Find N2 Flip opens to a larger 6.8-inch display on the inside. It is an FHD+ AMOLED screen with the refresh rate between 1Hz and 120Hz. Likewise, the main screen covers 100% of DCI-P3 color coverage and has Samsung’s Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG) for protection.
Key to the Fold N3 Flip is the new vertical hinge composed of aviation-grade alloy. So, it is both strong and lightweight. Oppo even says the Find N2 Flip is safe for over 10,000 folds.
Performance and Battery
Powering the Oppo Find N2 Flip is the latest Dimensity 9000+ SoC from MediaTek. The chip has been paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. Find N2 Flip packs a dual-cell battery with a total capacity of 4,300mAh. While the battery life has been an issue with flip phones of the past, Oppo has assured that it provides over 11 hours of offline video streaming. On the other hand, the phone supports 44W fast charging.
Rest of the Specs
Over on the photography front, you get two cameras to the side of the external display. They make up the primary camera setup and include 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide sensors. The inner screen has a center-aligned punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera.
