Oppo announced its first foldable phone, the Find N, at last year’s Inno Day. At the last day of Oppo’s 2022 annual event, the company has now launched its successor, the Find N2. That’s not all — there is a new flip phone, set to compete against the likes of Galaxy Z Flip 4, Pocket S, and Razr 2022. Here, we will discuss the full specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Oppo Find N2 in Nepal.
Oppo Find N2 Overview:
Design and Display
Design-wise, the new Oppo Find N2 is a slimmer and lighter version of its predecessor. Oppo has reduced the thickness from 73mm to 72.6mm, while there is a massive jump in the weight category from 275 gm to 233 grams.
Oppo has also vastly improved the hinge system on its second-gen foldable. The company has reduced the number of moving parts from 138 to 100. As a result, the volume and the weight are down by 37% and 36%, respectively. It can open at any angle between 45° and 125°.
Furthermore, Find N2 now uses composite carbon fiber to support the folding display, making it 34% lighter and the crease 67% less visible. The 5.54-inch external display is the same size as last year. That said, Oppo has changed the aspect ratio by reducing the bezels. Likewise, the screen is smoother with the 120Hz refresh rate and can get as bright as 1,350 nits.
Over on the inside, you get an even brighter display that peaks at 1,550 nits. The 7.1” WUSXGA screen has the same refresh rate as the cover display, but since it is an LTPO AMOLED, it can dial it down to 1Hz to save energy when needed, but it’s not anything new. What’s new is the added support for Oppo Stylus, though you will have to buy it separately as it is not part of the Find N2 bundle.

Oppo has also strengthened on the photography front. The 50MP primary now uses an upgraded Sony IMX890 with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. It also has Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for steady shots. Furthermore, Oppo has replaced the 13MP ultrawide camera with a massive 48MP sensor. The telephoto module gets a similar upgrade, jumping from 13MP to 32MP. For selfies, you get 32MP snapper on external and internal screens. Oppo Find N2 also benefits from the in-house MariSilicon X imaging NPU and Hasselblad color calibration.
Performance and Battery
We do get a better processor than the Snapdragon 888 on the original Find N. However, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is still not the latest flagship chip in Qualcomm’s arsenal. The chip is paired with up to 15GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Oppo Find N2 ships with Android 13 out of the box with ColorOS on top.
The battery has seen a slight increase to 4,520mAh, while it now charges a lot faster at 67W. So, you can expect a fully charged phone in just 42.5 minutes.
