Oppo Find X10 Pro Max launches with three 200MP rear cameras and an 8,000mAh battery!

Oppo has officially announced the Find X10 Pro Max as its latest flagship smartphone, bringing some seriously ambitious camera hardware to the Find X series. The phone features a triple-camera setup with 200MP sensors for the main, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras. It also brings Hasselblad-backed imaging features and an extensive set of video capabilities aimed at users who want more control over their footage. Additionally, it has a MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, and a huge 8,000mAh battery. 

With this setup, you can say that the Find X10 Pro Max is going up against phones like the Vivo X500 Pro Max. In this article, I will cover everything you need to know about the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max, including its specifications, availability, and expected price in Nepal. 

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Overview

Camera and Video

On paper, this is where the phone has an advantage over the vivo X500 Pro Max, as the biggest highlight of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is its triple 200MP rear camera system, covering the main, ultrawide, and telephoto cameras. While vivo uses only a 200MP sensor for its telephoto zoom, its main and ultrawide cameras have lower-resolution sensors. The setup is also co-developed with Hasselblad, while OPPO has added its second-generation Danxia color-reproduction camera to help maintain more consistent colors across photos and videos.

200MP main camera

To begin with the main camera, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max uses a 200MP sensor with a large 1/1.3-inch size, an f/1.5 aperture, and a 24mm equivalent focal length. It also gets two-axis optical image stabilization (OIS), which should help keep photos and videos steadier, particularly when shooting in low light.

The company has also introduced its new DeepPix sensor technology, which is designed to deliver up to 17 stops of dynamic range. In simpler terms, this should help the camera retain more detail in both bright and dark areas of a scene, like when shooting backlit subjects or high-contrast scenes.

200MP Ultrawide Camera

Moving on to the ultrawide camera, this is where the triple-200MP setup becomes particularly interesting. It uses a 200MP sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, a 13mm equivalent focal length, and a 124-degree field of view. So, whether you are capturing landscapes, buildings, or a group of people, it can fit much more into the frame without dropping down to a lower-resolution sensor.

Oppo also claims that the new ultrawide camera captures 202% more light than its predecessor, which should help it retain more detail in darker environments.

200MP Telephoto Camera

For zoomed-in shots, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max has another 200MP camera with a 70mm equivalent focal length and an f/2.1 aperture. It supports 3x optical zoom, giving you a dedicated lens for portraits and distant subjects rather than relying entirely on digital cropping. The camera also supports two-axis OIS and can focus as close as 10cm, allowing it to double as a macro camera for close-up shots.

8K Video and Pro Features

Likewise, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is not just about high-resolution photos. Talking about the video capabilities, it can record 8K video at 30fps, while 4K recording goes up to 120fps and is also available with Dolby Vision. The phone also supports 8K 30fps 10-bit Log video, giving users more flexibility when adjusting colors during post-production.

Oppo has also introduced Open Gate recording for the first time on one of its imaging flagships. This captures a larger portion of the sensor, giving you more room to crop and reframe footage later. This makes it easier to use the same footage in different formats, such as a regular widescreen video or vertical content for Instagram Reels and similar platforms. The company has also partnered with TILTA's KHRONOS ecosystem, allowing the phone to work with accessories such as an ND filter, follow-focus handle, and teleconverter for more advanced video setups.

On the front, the phone has a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus and support for up to 4K video recording at 60fps.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, built on a 2nm process to handle demanding tasks, such as gaming, multitasking, and other intensive workloads efficiently. The phone is configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage, catering to different user needs. 

On the software side, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max boots ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. It also packs several AI features such as AI Fluid Cloud can provide proactive travel updates, while Xiaobu Suggestions can remind you about payments and frequently used services. There is also AI Notes, which can automatically summarize meetings, videos, and other content, and AI Tap, which can identify things through the camera and offer actions such as document scanning, translation, and Wi-Fi connection.

Design and Display

In terms of design, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max takes inspiration from classic cameras, particularly around the rear camera module. It uses a two-texture finish on the back, giving it a more layered look while keeping the overall aesthetic clean. The phone is available in Moon White, Warm Orange, and Light Titanium color options. For durability, it comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Moving on to the display, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max features a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a 2771 x 1272 pixel resolution for sharp text and images. It supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate, but Oppo says that the 144Hz refresh rate only works in some game scenarios. So mostly, the refresh rate remains at 1-120Hz, depending on the content. Which is also not bad, as it still provides a smooth experience while scrolling and navigating the phone.

Additionally, the screen can reach up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness, offering clear visibility in bright outdoor conditions. It also has a 10-bit color depth for more vivid and detailed colors to make watching videos and photos more enjoyable. For eye comfort, the display can go as low as 1 nit for darker environments and uses 3,840Hz PWM dimming. It also includes features such as low-blue-light protection and reminders for viewing distance and eye strain.

Battery and Charging

For the battery, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max packs a massive 8,000mAh battery that is considerably larger than what we typically see on flagship smartphones. It should provide plenty of endurance and be able to last comfortably through a full day even with demanding use. 

The phone supports 80W wired charging, allowing the large battery to be topped up relatively quickly. It also supports 50W wireless charging for a more convenient way to recharge without plugging in a cable. So, despite carrying such a large battery, the Find X10 Pro Max does not appear to compromise much on charging speed either.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Price in Nepal and Availability

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max has launched in China with a starting price of CNY 6,799 for the 12/256GB variant. The 12/512GB, 16/512GB, and 16/1TB configurations are priced at CNY 7,499, CNY 7,999, and CNY 8,999, respectively. Oppo has confirmed that the Find X10 Pro Max will also launch in international markets; however, there is no official word about its availability in the local market yet. If it does get introduced here, we expect the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max price in Nepal to be around NPR 155,199 for the base variant.
