Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro Overview

Design and Case

Starting with the design, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro features a curved oval profile with a thick stem design that houses its touch-and-swipe controls. For comfort and stability, the earbuds have added ear fins that securely tuck into the concha of your ear during workouts and daily use. Moreover, it comes with an IP55 rating for reliable resistance against sweat, rain, and dust.

As for the case, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro has a 0.96-inch TFT touchscreen built into the front. This smart display offers the flexibility to check battery levels, switch between ANC modes, select EQ, and control playback without constantly reaching for your phone or opening the app. Additionally, the case supports swipe gestures along with up to 20 built-in commands, making it more interactive and convenient for everyday use.

Audio, ANC, and Call Quality

Moving on to the audio, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro comes with a 9.2mm wool-paper diaphragm driver for sound output, along with LDAC support for higher-quality wireless audio on compatible devices. It also features HearID 5.0, which helps tune the sound profile based on your listening preference.

For noise cancellation, the earbuds use adaptive ANC 4.0 that automatically adjusts depending on the surrounding environment. It is powered by Anker’s Thus AI chip, which helps process and optimise noise reduction in real time for more consistent performance, making it suitable for both crowded places and quieter settings.

For calls, the earbuds include an 8-microphone setup paired with dual VPUs designed to improve voice clarity by reducing background noise. Likewise, it has a transparency mode that lets you hear your surroundings when needed.

Battery and Connectivity

In terms of battery, the Soundcore Liberty 5 Pro is said to offer about 6.5 hours of listening with noise cancelling turned on, and up to 28 hours total when you include the charging case. If you use all the advanced features at once, expect closer to 17 hours total use.

The earbuds also support fast charging, which gives 4 hours of playback with just 5 minutes of charging, making it ideal for rush situations.

On the connectivity side, it comes with Bluetooth 6.1 and can connect to up to 3 devices at the same time. This means you can switch between your phone, laptop, and tablet without manually reconnecting each time.
