Asus has announced that it will reveal the ROG Phone 9 series very soon. This series continues the brand’s legacy of exclusive enthusiast smartphones designed for gamers. In this article, we will discuss everything about the latest Asus ROG Phone 9 Series, including its rumors, pricing and more.
Asus ROG Phone 9 Rumors
Processor
The new ROG Phone 9 series will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. This chipset is currently released chip and is already available in other flagship smartphones such as Xiaomi 15, Realme GT 7 Pro and OnePlus 13. To prevent performance throttling, Asus has integrated heat dissipation technology into the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Asus plans to include AI features in the new series, but specific details have not yet been disclosed. t is expected to come with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device will likely support 65W wired charging, similar to its predecessor.
Display and Design
The biggest news coming outta this series is its display. The ROG Phone 9 Pro will introduce the industry’s first-ever 185 Hz display. Additionally, it will use a flat LTPO OLED display. The expected resolution is around 1.5K, although the exact specifications have not been confirmed. The higher refresh rate will provide a smoother gaming experience. Benco has been launching quite a few new models into the Nepalese budget smartphone market and one of its stylish offerings includes the V91 Plus. So here, we’ll briefly get into the Benco V91 Plus, its features, and specifications, alongside its official price in Nepal and availability information.
Benco V91 Plus Overview
Design and Display
From the design front, Benco’s new budget device leaves no stone unturned. It’s got an attractive-looking patterned back, an iPhone-esque camera layout, and a relatively modern display. That’s a 6.56-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a punch hole on the top. The minimal-size bezels and a bit of chin all complement the back to complete the overall appealing look. Personally, the ‘Sunrise White’ color option looks like the go-to choice on paper but the ‘Volcanic Grey’ model has its own charm as well.
Performance and Battery
Powering the Benco V91 Plus is a Unisoc T606 octa-core processor with dual Cortex A75 and other Cortex A55 cores. It’s an entry-level chip fabbed on a 12nm process with a max clock of 1600 MHz. On the memory side of things, there are 6/128GB and 8/256GB configurations both supporting virtual RAM expansion. Furthermore, you can always add a microSD card to further increase storage.
For the battery, you get a standard 5000 mAh lithium polymer cell with support for up to 18W fast charging. The charger alongside a transparent case and earphones are also included in the retail box during your purchase.
Cameras and Extras
The camera layout is definitely uncanny and looks inspired by a much more expensive lineup of smartphones from Apple. Keeping that aside though, there’s only one usable lens despite what the triple cutouts might have you believe and that is a 50MP 1 /2.5” sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. One the front is an 8MP shooter housed in the hole punch.
For connectivity, Benco V91 Plus has all the essential bands and technology for GPS, and LTE in Nepal. There’s WiFi 5, support for dual nano SIMs, and Bluetooth as well. The sensors are pretty barebones as you’d expect from a budget device with a G sensor, light sensor, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor, and an E compass. Oh I almost forgot, the V91 Plus can also mimic iPhone’s ‘Dynamic Island’ with its own capsule around the punch hole during calls, and music playback.
Benco V91 Plus Specifications:
Dimensions: 162.94 x 74.69 x 8.99mm, 193g
Display: 6.56” HD+ LCD, 90.14% screen-to-body ratio, 20:9 aspect ratio

iQOO is a gamer-centric sub-brand of Vivo, which just launched its flagship phone. This phone obviously comes with gaming-focused features like a dedicated chip for performance boost, a large vapour chamber, and so on. This article will discuss the iQOO 13 in further detail, including its expected price in Nepal.
iQOO 13 Overview
This one for the gamers!
Firstly, the iQOO 13 has the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset under its hood. The latest silicon from Qualcomm comes with no efficiency cores, 3nm fabbing and clocks in at 4.32GHz — pushing it to the forefront of pure performance. Furthermore, this phone packs the Q2 dedicated gaming chip. This allows users to game at 2K resolution with 144FPS smoothness.
Additionally, it is equipped with a 7K vapour chamber, which iQOO says is the largest in its history. This dissipates the internal heat allowing the phone to maintain its performance even when pushed to its limits. Meanwhile, the Warhammer vibration motor in the iQOO 13 offers a 4D gaming vibration experience, adding to the immersiveness of the game.
You are looking at a 6,150mAh Blue Volt battery in the tank that supports a rapid charging speed of 120W. You can reach charging speeds of up to 100W with third-party chargers too. Moreover, this phone can be directly powered by the charger during gaming sessions, keeping the temperature cool and protecting battery health.
Design and Display
The phone’s focus on gamers continues in its design and display as well. While iQOO 13 looks pretty much the same as its predecessor, the company has made a slight tweak giving it a flair of its own. This phone has an integrated “Monster Halo” on the camera island. You can configure 72 different light effect combinations on it with 6 dynamic effects and 12 colour combinations. This is basically a take on RGB lighting we usually see in computers.
Moving on to the front, it has a 6.82-inch Q10 Everest screen, which iQOO jointly developed with BOE. This panel uses Q10 LED as the lighting material allowing it to achieve 12.5% higher brightness than the previous display model. In the meantime, the screen’s lifespan sees a 33% boost and a 10% reduction in power consumption. In addition, iQOO 13 is apparently easier on the eyes too with software and hardware-based solutions to reduce visual fatigue, eye strain, dry eye symptoms, and the probability of astigmatism.
Camera and the rest
Even though the company has put much of its energy into gaming, it does not slack in the camera department. The iQOO 13 has a triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP snapper on the front. All three rear cameras are 50MP units. The primary shooter is paired with a VCS bionic flagship sensor. Likewise, the two auxiliary lenses are telephoto and ultrawide units. The telephoto camera is capable of 4x lossless zoom.
This phone is available in five configurations altogether. The base model comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The other trims include 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. Similarly, you can choose iQOO 13 in four different colours: Track Edition (Black), Nardo Grey, Isle of Man (Green), and Legendary Edition. These shades are brought in partnership with BMW M Motorsport. Lastly, the phone is touted with IP68 as well as IP69 dust and water resistance.
iQOO 13 Specifications
Design: Flat screen and frame, curved back panel, Monster Halo on the camera bump, IP68 and IP69-rated
Dimensions: 163.37 mm x 76.71 mm x 7.99 or 8.13 mm
Weight: 207 or 213 grams

This phone was launched on 30 October 2024 in China with a starting price of CNY 3,999. Given that, if it arrives in Nepal, we expect the iQOO 13 price to start at NPR 90,499. However, iQOO is yet to enter the Nepali market. Hence, the possibility of this phone making it here is pretty bleak.

The Finnish company HMD has been making phones with the “Nokia” branding for quite some time now. The company recently launched the 2024 iteration of the Nokia 110 4G — a spitting image of another feature phone from HMD — HMD 110 4G. Even the naming is similar… Regardless, let’s take some time to talk about the Nokia 110 4G (2024) in this article, including its price in Nepal.
Nokia 110 4G (2024) Overview
Design and Display
As I mentioned earlier, the Nokia 110 4G (2024) is a feature phone. Given that, it is rectangular in shape and has a tactile keyboard below the display. The black streaks you see running across its edge are actually a solid inner frame providing rigidity to the phone. Likewise, the groovy nano-patterns on the back panel come with a ceramic coating. The Nokia 110 4G (2024) ships in Titanium and Blue shades.
It has a two-inch display on the front, a step up from the 1.77-inch one on the 2023 model. This screen is still smaller than that of the HMD 110 4G, which measures 2.4 inches. The panel here is likely TFT LCD, though the company does not formally mention it.
The Nokia 110 4G (2024) has a 128MB + 64MB memory and storage combination. You can store up to 2,000 contacts in that space, but not enough to store photos, music, and audio recordings. Hence, it offers storage expansion via a MicroSD card. The phone lets you tune into FM radio and has the classic Snake game for entertainment.
It has a 1,000 mAh battery as the power source. In the meantime, HMD does not mention which processor it has equipped the Nokia 110 4G (2024) with. While some sources point towards the UNISOC T107, we can rest assured it is a 4G-ready phone that works with a nano-SIM.
Nokia 110 4G (2024) Specifications
Design: Monotone finish with rigid inner frame, Nano-patterned ceramic coating on the back panel, Tactile keyboard
Display: 2-inch, TFT LCD Panel*
RAM: 128MB
ROM: 64MB (Up to 2,000 contacts) + Expandable with MicroSD card
Battery: 1,000 mAh, removable, USB Type-C charging
Connectivity: Nano-SIM, 4G LTE
Features: Rear camera, LED Flash, Voice recorder, FM Radio, MP3 Player, Snake game
Colour Options: Titanium, Blue
Nokia 110 4G (2024) Price in Nepal and Availability
While HMD has listed this phone on its website, it has not revealed its pricing. The 2023 model seems to retail around GBP 55 to GBP 80 currently, so we can expect it to fall in a similar range. Given that, if the Nokia 110 4G (2024) arrives in Nepal, we can expect its price to be NPR 9,999.

Xiaomi recently held a launch event revealing a bunch of new products. The latest releases also included the successor to the Xiaomi Watch S3. While this new watch carries over a lot of characteristics from its predecessor, it adds a handful of nifty features. Let’s take a look at the Xiaomi Watch S4 in further detail and also discuss what its price in Nepal might be.
Xiaomi Watch S4 Overview
What’s new?
The Xiaomi Watch S4 does not look all that different from the previous model, the upgrades come on the inside. Firstly, the company has launched an eSIM variant allowing users to connect to mobile networks without a smartphone. Likewise, you can also use this watch as a walkie-talkie — both over cellular and Bluetooth. It works over a maximum distance of 200 metres in the latter mode. You get noise reduction during calls too.
With HyperOS 2, the Xiaomi Watch S4 has been highly integrated into the ecosystem significantly increasing its usability. The watch already offered general tasks like remote control of the smartphone camera, finding the device, and earbuds’ settings. Now, you can even control Mijia (smart home) devices and Xiaomi Car. Furthermore, you can do so with gestures like snapping fingers and clinching the wrist.
The Car Keys feature which uses the watch’s NFC has now been expanded to include more brands such as Lotus and select BYD models. Xiaomi has also increased third-party application support on the Watch S4.
Design and Display
As I mentioned earlier, the general design of the watch has barely changed from last year. The dimensions and weight of the Xiaomi Watch S4 are nearly the same as those of the S3. It is still 5ATM water resistant and comes with interchangeable bezels. However, Xiaomi has widened the straps and bezel options for the watch.
The case is pretty much the same for the display as well. It is the same 1.43-inch AMOLED panel stretching 466 pixels all around. It has the same 326 PPI pixel density and standard 60Hz refresh rate. While most of the display’s characteristics are the same — the Xiaomi Watch S4 reaches a much higher brightness of 2,200 nits and is designed to neglect touch commands from water droplets.
While the latest Xiaomi watch comes with a handful of nifty features, it has not forgotten the general ones. It does all the fitness and vitals tracking. You get over 150 sports modes and a GNSS chip for precision tracking with five different satellites. Additionally, the Xiaomi Watch S4 can track skiing and is powered by AI to offer better insight into running sessions. It also records heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, sleep, and women’s health.
Finally, regarding battery, this watch packs a 486mAh cell — the same capacity as its predecessor. It generally lasts 15 days, however, the battery life gets cut by a third when you turn on AOD. In the meantime, the eSIM variant offers much less backup capping out at just seven days. It goes out even faster when you push it — in just three days.
