Poco Buds Pro goes official with 35dB ANC, Genshin Impact customization

Today, Poco held an event where it pulled the curtains off the F4 GT. The gaming phone was accompanied by a couple of AIoT products. Among the two AIoT products launched today, we will be discussing the specs, features, expected price, and availability of the Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition in Nepal.

Long Time Coming

Back in 2020, the then Poco India General Manager, C Manmohan created a poll to ask fans what next product would they like to see from Poco. Around 38% of fans voted for TWS earbuds. The company then put out a teaser poster, too. However, we did not hear about the said TWS until now.

Genshin Impact Customization

Poco Buds Pro is the company’s first product in the growing audio accessory market. The company has designed the buds and the charging case after Klee – a popular character from Genshin Impact. The charging case is elliptical in shape and is red in color. There is an LED indicator on the front and a Type-C charging port at the bottom. The exterior of the case is all-red, while the interior has a gold-colored shade. Inside, there is a pair of in-ear wireless headphones. They are mostly red except for the gold and brown highlights on the controls. In addition to the Klee-inspired color scheme, Poco even ships Klee’s backpack carrying case with the Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition. Fans will also appreciate the fact that Poco has designed the earbuds’ in-line voice to match that of Klee.

Rebranded Redmi AirDots 3 Pro

Unsurprisingly, Poco's first TWS earbuds sports the same design as last year’s Redmi AirDots 3 Pro. Redmi even released a special Genshin Impact Edition earlier this year. Poco Buds Pro is indeed a rebranded version of Redmi Buds Pro. Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition has an in-ear design with interchangeable silicone tips. Each earbud weighs around 4.9 grams, and they even have an IPX4 splash-proof rating. The complete package with the charging case weighs around 55 grams.

As a result, Poco Buds Pro offers nothing new in terms of specifications and features. It comes with 9mm composite dynamic drivers and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. There is also support for dual-connection that you can use to connect the TWS earbuds to two devices simultaneously. The earbuds even have in-ear detection. As per the company, Poco Buds Pro Genshin Impact Edition’s Active Noise Cancelation technology is effective for noises of up to 35dB. There is also a Transparency mode that users can use when they need to be aware of their surroundings. As for battery endurance, we are looking at up to 28 hours of continuous music playback with the charging case. It is with the ANC turned off and volume set to 50%. The charging case takes around 2.5 hours to fully charge via the Type-C port. It even supports wireless charging.
