POCO has turned the tables by launching a ridiculously powerful phone— the POCO X6 Pro at competitive pricing. Powered by a Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC, it arrives with a 120Hz AMOLED panel, 64MP OIS camera, and more. The upcoming POCO X6 Pro derives some cues from its Redmi K70E sibling, continuing the Redmi-POCO rebranding culture. You get two back panel options here: vegan leather and plastic back for the phone. To note, the K70E has a glass back on all its color options. Likewise, the camera module is also identical.

On the display side, the X6 Pro sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, and 2160Hz touch sampling rate. The hole-punch cutout screen sports 1800 uni of peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support, Dolby Vision, and HDR 10+ certifications.

Performance

The key USP lies in the performance aspect. This POCO smartphone houses a powerhouse Mediatek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset. This TSMC 4nm-based chipset features 1x Cortex-A715 core at 3.35GHz, 3x Cortex-A715 cores at 3.2GHz, and four Cortex-A510 clocking at 2.2GHz. Handling the graphics here is Mali-G615 MP6. To keep the thermals in check, you get a 5000m2 Vapor Chamber cooling solution.

In terms of memory and storage, the X6 Pro is available with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. So, finally a comeback for POCO in the gaming scene? The specs surely say so!

Battery and Charging

Fueling the Poco X6 Pro is a 5,000mAh cell with 67W wired fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, IR Blaster, and a USB Type-C port. Furthermore, there is an indisplay fingerprint scanner this time, bidding farewell to the side-mounted one from the POCO F5.
