The much anticipated POCO performer is finally here with a very powerful chipset and an appealing price tag. So, let’s get right into the features and specifications of the POCO X7 Pro 5G alongside its expected price in Nepal and availability details.

POCO X7 Pro Overview

Design and Display

The POCO X7 Pro is basically the global version of the Redmi Turbo 4 exclusive to China. It’s got a similar boxy build with a dual-tone design measuring about 8.2mm thick. The smartphone is available in three different colors: Nebula Green, Obsidian Black, and POCO Yellow. For durability, there’s an IP66+IP67+IP69 rating with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on screen.

On the display side, the POCO X7 Pro features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel running at up to 120Hz. It’s a 1.5k screen with up to 3200nits of peak brightness and 68 billion colors. There’s also support for Dolby Vision and HDR 10+.

Performance

Under the hood, there’s MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset with an all-big core configuration on POCO X7 Pro. It’s based on TSMC’s 4nm process and features 8 Cortex A725 cores that clock up to 3.25GHz. Roughly speaking, it competes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipsets with over 1.7 million scores in the AnTuTu benchmark. On the GPU side, there’s the Arm Mali 6720 MC7 delivering flagship-grade graphical horsepower. To keep things cool, there’s POCO’s Ice Loop cooling system with a large 5000mm² vapor chamber.

Memory-wise, it houses either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM with 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It’ll run on HyperOS version 2 and get 3 years of OS and 4 years of security support.

Cameras

Moving on to the cameras, there’s a 50MP Sony LYT 800 sensor with OIS as the primary supported by an 8MP ultrawide on the POCO X7 Pro. The front side houses a 20MP selfie cam housed in the punch hole.

Battery and Rest

Under the hood, the POCO X7 Pro houses a large 6550 mAh silicon carbide battery with 90W fast charging support. The brand promises 16 hours of continuous use with all-day power with just a 19-minute top-up. There are also dedicated P2 and G1 surge chipsets that preserve battery health to >80% in over 1600 cycles.
