Design and Display

The boAt Ultima Connect looks like a standard smartwatch with a squircle frame. It has a tiny bump on the right that houses the crown/button for navigation. This watch is IP68 rated, meaning, it can shrug off dust and water with no issue whatsoever. It ships in four different colour options i.e. Black, Cool Grey, Deep Blue, and Cherry Blossom. Furthermore, you can get the black option in two different variants: one with a rubber frame, and the other with a black metal mesh strap.

On the front, you get a 2.5D curved screen that stretches 1.83 inches diagonally. The company does not mention the type of panel on this watch. However, it probably is an LCD panel. Other than that, you get a peak brightness of 700 nits on the boAt Ultima Connect. Additionally, it also supports “Wake Gesture” which wakes up the screen when you raise your arm to glance at the watch.

Features and the rest

Talking of the features on the boAt Ultima Connect, let’s start with the software. This watch boots on the Crest+ OS which gives it access to wide features through the company’s in-house Crest app. Here, you can get yourself a watch face of your liking or create one by yourself. In addition to that, you can also customise the watch through the app and access all the tracked data. This includes heart rate, blood oxygen, and sleep. Moreover, you can also set your fitness plan and wellness crew, and earn badges and boAt coines that can be exchanged for vouchers and such.

The smartwatch is equipped with BLE 5.0 as well as Bluetooth v3.0 for connectivity with your smartphone. It also has a built-in microphone and speaker. With this, you can make and receive calls straight through the watch. Additionally, you can also save up to 10 contacts on the boAt Ultima Connect. In the tank, you get a 220 mAh battery that can power you through an entire week on regular usage. Lastly, when the watch battery is drained, you can plug it in with the magnetic charger included in the box.
