Design, Display
Design-wise, Galaxy A23 4G looks a lot like its predecessor. It has a polycarbonate body and is available in four “Awesome” color options: Peach, Black, White, and Blue. It measures 8.44mm in thickness and measures weighs around 195 grams. There is no official IP rating that you can find on more expensive A-series phones.
In terms of display, the Galaxy A33 5G has a 6.6-inches 90Hz display with a notch on the top. It uses Samsung’s PLS TFT panel with FHD resolution.
Performance
Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy A23 4G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset. It is built on a newer 6nm process and brings two Cortex-A73 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores. The base variant of the A24 4G features 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, whereas Samsung even offers 6 and 8GB variants with 128GB memory.
The Samsung A23 5G boots on One UI 4.1 based on Android 12 right out the box. Samsung has even promised 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.
Cameras, Others
Moving on, the Galaxy A33 5G sports a quad rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor with OIS, an 5MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with a 123° FoV, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Then there’s an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture, enclosed by the notch upfront. Samsung Galaxy A23 4G gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery. There is a Type-C port at the bottom for charging. The phone has support for 25W adaptive fast charging. However, the company only ships a 15W charger in the box.
