AMD has officially launched the Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card. It targets the midrange market and competes directly with Nvidia’s RTX 5060 series. The card brings a dual-variant memory option and several improvements in performance and efficiency. The Radeon RX 9060 XT comes in two variants. The base model features 8GB of video memory, while the higher-end version includes 16GB. In addition, both models are built on AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture.

The GPU delivers a boost clock of 3.1GHz. It has 32 compute units. Furthermore, AMD claims it offers a 6% performance gain over the RTX 5060 and better performance per dollar than the RTX 5060 Ti.

AI and machine learning enhancements

The RX 9060 XT supports FSR 4 with Redstone updates. It adds Neural Radiance Caching, machine learning ray regeneration, and frame generation. Additionally, over 60 games are expected to support FSR 4 by launch.
