Realme 17 Pro series leak reveals 10,000mAh battery and 165Hz display!

Just a few weeks after the Realme 16 5G launched in Nepal, its successors have started surfacing online, hinting at what the company could bring to its next numbered series. A new leak has revealed key specifications of what could be the Realme 17 Pro or Realme 17 Pro+, including a 165Hz display and a massive 10,000mAh battery. If these details turn out to be accurate, the upcoming phone could bring notable upgrades in display smoothness and battery capacity over the previous generation. While Realme has yet to confirm the devices, here’s what we know about the Realme 17 Pro series, including its rumored specifications and expected availability in Nepal.

Realme 17 Pro Series Overview

Design and Display

The upcoming Realme phone is tipped to feature a flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution. It could support a 120Hz refresh rate during regular use, reaching 165Hz in supported games for smoother visuals. This would mark a shift from the curved-screen design of the Realme 16 Pro+, with the new model adopting a flatter display instead.

The phone is also said to feature a plastic frame, similar to the Realme 16 Pro. If the leaked specifications belong to the Realme 17 Pro+, though, this could be a downgrade, as the Realme 16 Pro+ has an aluminium frame. Whether this change applies to the standard Pro or the Pro+ remains unclear.

Performance and Software

The Realme 17 Pro series is rumored to use the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 chipset. If these specifications belong to the standard Realme 17 Pro, it could offer a performance upgrade over the Realme 16 Pro, which uses the Dimensity 7300 Max.

Realme has yet to reveal details about the software or other performance-related features.

Camera

The Realme 17 Pro series is rumored to feature a 200MP primary camera, accompanied by a 50MP telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and an ultrawide sensor. This setup could offer more flexibility for photography, particularly when capturing distant subjects.

The leaked specifications also suggest a camera module similar to that of the Realme 16 Pro+. It remains unclear whether the entire camera setup will be shared by both the Realme 17 Pro and Realme 17 Pro+.
