Design and Display
Design-wise, the Redmi 13R Pro looks a bit distinct from the Note 13 5G. The back panel has a wider island for the camera with the brand name on it. The dimensions and weight are barely different, though, with the device measuring around 161.11×74.95×7.73 mm and weighing nearly 174g.
As for the display, you're greeted with a 6.67-inch screen with FHD+ resolution (1080×2400px). This AMOLED panel boasts a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM dimming, 10-bit color depth, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut support. Moreover, color options include Midnight Black, Time Blue, and Morning Light Gold.
Under the hood, the Note 13R Pro gets the same Dimensity 6080 chipset as the vanilla Redmi Note 13. This 5G chip from Mediatek features two cores of Cortex-A76 running at 2400 MHz and six cores of Cortex-A55 clocking at 2000 MHz. Handling the graphics is a Mali-G57 MP2 GPU.
Dimensity 6080 5GRedmi has paired the chip with a sole 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage configuration. On the software side, this smartphone surprisingly boots on MIUI 14 skin, instead of the recently announced HyperOS.
Camera
Getting to the optics, the 13R Pro features a dual camera setup, headlined by a primary 108MP rear camera and a 2MP depth sensing unit. Over on the front, you get a 16MP camera on the punch-hole cutout.
Battery and Others
Lastly, the smartphone gets its fuel from a 5000mAh lithium cell with 33W wired fast charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Likewise, you get a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power key.

In China, the official price of the Redmi Note 13R Pro is CNY 1,999 for the sole 12/256GB trim. This is a bit more expensive than the Redmi Note 13 5G. We expect the Redmi Note 13R Pro price in Nepal to be NPR 39,999 if and when it arrives here.
