Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy A07s in Jordan, and it looks more like a refined version of the Galaxy A07 than a completely new budget phone. The biggest change is the newer MediaTek Helio G99+, while Samsung has retained the 6.7-inch 90Hz display, 50MP camera, 5,000mAh battery, IP54 rating, and long software support. Samsung Galaxy A07s Overview

Design and Display

Starting off, the Galaxy A07s follows Samsung's familiar budget Galaxy design with a fairly simple and clean appearance. It comes with a vertically placed oval-shaped camera island in a glossy finish. You also get the option to choose between “Black”, “Light Violet”, and “Green” finishes. Samsung has also added an IP54 rating, which gives the phone some protection against dust and water splashes.

Up front, the phone houses a 6.7-inch PLS LCD panel with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The combination of this resolution and refresh rate should be just enough for everyday social media scrolling and streaming. Camera and battery

For photography, the Galaxy A07s comes with a 50MP f/1.8 primary camera paired with a 2MP secondary sensor, while selfies are handled by an 8MP front camera. The main camera also gets autofocus, but there is no OIS, so do not expect much from low-light photography. However, Samsung's image processing could make the main camera reasonably useful for casual daytime photography.

In terms of battery, the Galaxy A07s packs a 5,000mAh cell, which should last for more than a day in casual use. It also includes 25W charging support in this phone to quickly top up whenever needed.
