Snapdragon 7 Gen 1
Firstly, let’s talk processor! A screenshot from Geekbench shows the chipset performance of the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G. It has a 3,647 single-core score and 11,282 multi-score for the chipset with Adreno 644 GPU — IT’S THE Snapdragon 7 Gen 1! To recall, this silicone was fabbed under Samsung’s 4nm foundry. The listed device boasts 8GB of RAM and runs on Android 14.
Design and Display
As of now, there is no solid info regarding the design and display of the upcoming M55 5G. Looking at Samsung’s uniform design language trend, this guy should also look similar to its predecessor, the M54 5G, with sight bit of changes here and there. Hence, we might witness the same protruding camera lenses with a glass/plastic back. For the display, it’s safe to assume that the M55 will feature an AMOLED panel with a hole punch cutout.
Camera and Battery
In terms of optics, we don’t have the exact details concurrently. The device might continue the triple camera setup with a primary 108MP shooter, followed by an 8MP ultrawide and 2MP depth/macro units.
Coming to the charging capability, the phone has an EP-TA845 adapter. This should translate to Samsung Galaxy M55 5G coming with 45W fast charge support. Other than that, the phone packs a battery from Ningde Amperex Technology Limited with the model number HQ-6887NAS. The capacity of the battery is not yet known. Moreover, this phone supports triple-band WiFi, 5G cellular connectivity, NFC, and four-way navigation with GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS.
