Sony working on a $250 phone with 1080P Display

Sony is currently working on a mid-range smartphone with some interesting specs. Codenamed Lavender, the phone features a Full-HD screen, MediaTek 64 bit MT6752 SoC and Android Lollipop 5.0. The phone is expected to launch before or together with Xperia Z4.

Leaked Specification about Sony Lavender so far:

Model Number – Sony E5503
Processor – MediaTek M6752 64 bit Octa-Core
Display – 1080p
Type number – PM-0861-BV
Firmware – 29.x firmware i.e Android Lollipop 5.0

According to the leaks, the price should be around $250 margin, which would give tough competition to other chinese manufacturer like Xiaomi and Meizu. We will keep you updated as soon as more info about Sony E5503 Lavender comes along.
