Tecno has launched its latest flip phone, the Phantom V Flip2, alongside the Phantom V Fold2. The new flip model features a larger cover screen and advanced AI capabilities. Design and Display

The Flip2 retains its slim profile, measuring 7.6 mm thin and 16 mm when folded. It remains a lightweight foldable, weighing under 200 grams, making it easy to carry and use.

The Phantom V Flip2 comes with a 3.64-inch square cover screen with a resolution of 1,056 x 1,056, replacing the smaller circular display seen in the Phantom V Flip. The inner screen is a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED with Full HD+ resolution. Tecno stated that the cover screen supports over 2,000 apps, allowing users to perform many tasks without needing to open the phone.

Camera System

On the back, the Phantom V Flip2 features a dual-camera setup, both with 50 MP sensors. The ultra-wide camera supports a 150-degree field of view (FoV), offering wider shots compared to standard ultra-wide cameras. The inner screen houses a 32 MP selfie camera with autofocus.

AI Features

Similar to its foldable sibling, the Phantom V Flip2 is equipped with the Ella AI assistant and a suite of AI-powered tools. These include AI Translation, AI Writing, and other productivity-enhancing features.

The Phantom V Flip2 is powered by a 4,720 mAh battery, one of the largest among flip foldables. It supports 70W fast charging, which Tecno claims can charge the phone to 50% in 15 minutes and fully charge it in 43 minutes.
