Last week, Vivo launched iQOO Z9s Pro in India and it was a pretty balanced phone (Read review). Now, the company is once again launching the same phone, but under its branding this time. Let's take a look at the Vivo T3 Pro 5G in further detail and discuss its potential price in Nepal as well.
Vivo T3 Pro 5G Overview
Design and Display
As I mentioned earlier, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G is the same thing as the iQOO Z9s Pro. And it is even more apparent when you look at the Sandstone Orange colour option. It is the same as iQOO's Flamboyant Orange option with everything looking the same except the company branding. On the other hand, the Emerald Green finish has its own twist monotone matte texture. Other than that, this phone is IP64-rated and supports touch controls even with wet hands.
Talking of the display, it comes with a 3D curved AMOLED panel that measures 6.77 inches diagonally. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,000Hz instant touch sampling rate, and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. It covers 100% DCI-P3 and 105% NTSC colour gamut delivering great vibrancy. Furthermore, the screen comes with SGS low blue light certification and 2,160Hz PWM dimming for a comfortable viewing experience. Lastly, it is layered with Schott Glass for added protection.
Performance
Moving on to the performance side of things, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G has the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 as the primary driver. It is a 4nm chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.63 GHz. It is also the same chipset you get in the iQOO Z9s Pro. However, there is a slight variation between the two phones. In the meantime, there is a 3,000 mm2 liquid cooling vapour chamber and eight NTC temperature sensors to prevent the phone from overheating.
While the iQOO offering can boast a large memory of up to 12GB, the Vivo offering caps out at 8GB. In fact, that is the only memory option it is available in. Meanwhile, you can choose between 128GB and 256GB for the storage on Vivo T3 Pro 5G. Similarly, the phone offers allows for an additional 8GB RAM extension but there are no options for storage expansion. Software-wise, it boots on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14.
The optics department is led by a 50MP shooter coupled with a Sony IMX882 sensor. The primary camera is also capable of hybrid image stabilisation (OIS + EIS) and 2x in-sensor zooming. There is an 8MP ultrawide lens as well on the back. On the front, the Vivo T3 Pro 5G carries a 16MP selfie shooter. Furthermore, this phone offers some AI capabilities to enhance your photos in the post.
In the tank, it has a large 5,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G comes with dual SIM, 5G cellular, dual-band WiFi 5, and Bluetooth v5.4 support for wireless connectivity. Meanwhile, there is a sole USB 2.0 Type-C port for wired duties. The Vivo T3 Pro 5G also has 4D Game Vibration and a stereo speaker setup with eight AI sound effects to enhance the gaming experience.
