Starting with the design, the V29e boasts a rear panel with dual-tone color-changing glass, known as the Artistic Design. It is available in two color options: Artistic Blue and Artistic Red. The latter one is UV sensitive, which turns its color from red to black when exposed to UV light. The camera module on the rear comes with no ring light, unlike the V27e. Additionally, both cameras stay separate, with no island holding them together.

Moving on, the device is powered by Snapdragon 695 chipset. This three-year-old 5G chipset features 2 cores Kryo 660 Gold (Cortex-A78) at 2200 MHz and 6 cores Kryo 660 Silver (Cortex-A55) at 1800 MHz. Vivo has paired the chip with 8GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of storage. On the software side, the phone boots on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
Camera
As for the optics, the smartphone houses a dual camera setup. It is headlined by a 64MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultrawide unit. Over on the front, you get a 50MP AF camera for selfies and video calls.
