Vivo has introduced its latest midrange phone, the Vivo V50e, which joins the more premium Vivo V50 (review) and the cheaper V50 Lite in Vivo’s V50 roster. In this article, we’ll explore the key specifications and features of the Vivo V50e, along with its expected price in Nepal.

Display and design

The Vivo V50e comes with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features a quad-curved design, which is quite rare in this segment. The entire screen can hit up to 1,300 nits of peak brightness for clear outdoor visibility, while Vivo has used “Diamond Shield Glass” for added durability. For biometrics, the V50e has an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

Available in “Sapphire Blue” and “Pearl White” color options, the Vivo V50e is both IP68 and IP69 rated against dust and water. Whereas Vivo has also secured “SGS 5-Star Certification” for drop resistance for this phone.

Performance and battery

As for performance, the Vivo V50e is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor. Paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Running on Android 15 with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 15 on top, the V50e includes various smart AI features, such as AI transcript assist, live call translation, and Circle to Search. Vivo has promised 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches for the device.

Moving on, the V50e gets its juice from a beefy 5600mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. Despite all this, the phone remains quite slim at just 7.3mm thick while weighing just 186 grams.

The Vivo V50e has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. There’s also Vivo’s signature “Aura Light” flash for better portraits when it gets dark. Vivo has also built a special “Wedding Style Portrait” feature here.

Over on the front, you get a 50MP camera with eye autofocus for sharp and detailed selfies. Whereas it can shoot up to 4K videos from both the main and the front camera.
