Vivo X300e goes official with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, Zeiss cameras, and a massive 7,200mAh battery

Vivo has officially expanded its X300 lineup with the launch of the new Vivo X300e in China. The smartphone brings flagship-level hardware, including Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a Zeiss-tuned triple camera setup, a large 7200mAh battery, and a compact AMOLED display. In this article, I will discuss this phone in detail, including the expected Vivo X300e price in Nepal, specifications, and availability.

Vivo X300e Overview

Design and Display

Starting with the design, the Vivo X300e maintains the sleek 7.99mm profile while retaining a premium look and feel. It also has the premium build with a redesigned square-shaped camera island that houses the Zeiss-branded triple cameras and an LED flash. Here you could choose between “Black”, “White”, and “Orange” finishes. And you also get an IP68 and IP69 rating in this phone that would let you use it without worrying about accidental exposure to water and dust.

Up front, X300e features a 6.59-inch display with a 1.5K resolution, offering sharp visuals and a comfortable viewing experience in a compact form factor. It also supports a 120Hz  refresh rate for smoother scrolling and gameplay, while slim bezels and a centred punch-hole camera give the phone a clean, modern look. 

Other than that, the panel also hits peak brightness of 5000 nits, which should make HDR content look more vibrant. It also has 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during extended hours of usage.

Under the hood, Vivo X300e uses Qualcomm's latest 3nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, making it one of the most powerful compact flagship smartphones in the Vivo lineup. This same chip is seen in phones like the OnePlus 15R and Motorola Edge 70 Max. So you can expect a balanced multitasking and gaming experience in this phone. Additionally, the demanding AAA titles like “Genshin Impact” should also run smoothly on high graphics settings on this device, maintaining stable frame rates. 

Memory-wise, this phone comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage for ensuring smooth multitasking and fast app loading. On the software front, X300e runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, bringing Vivo's latest UI optimizations to your device. Camera and Battery

For optics, the Vivo X300e continues its collaboration with Zeiss and brings the triple camera setup to this device. The camera setup included the 50MP f/1.57 Sony LYT-828 primary sensor with OIS for sharper photos and steadier videos. It is further accompanied by an 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and a 50MP f/2.0 Periscope telephoto lens that supports 3x optical zoom, giving you plenty of flexibility for different shooting scenarios. 

On the front, the phone houses a 50MP autofocus selfie camera for high-resolution selfies and cleaner video calls. At least on paper, the combination of Zesis-tuned cameras of X300e looks like a promising option for those of you looking for a compact photography-focused flagship device. 

Moving on, to keep the phone running, it packs a large 7200mAh battery, one of the largest in its class. Here, it comes with 90W wired fast charging, so you can quickly top up your battery in everyday use. According to Vivo, the battery is designed to last for more than a day, even with demanding tasks like gaming and 4K video recording.

Vivo has only opened the pre-booking of X300e in China, while pricing details are still under wraps. So we need to wait for it to officially launch to get to know the details about the pricing. However, it is expected to come around the price of CNY 3,699 (~$511, INR 42,999) for the base model. If this makes its way here, we expect the Vivo X300e price in Nepal to begin at 199,999.
