Details of Xiaomi’s upcoming flagship lineup have already started surfacing online. And rumors suggest that the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will finally bring a 4K selfie video recording option and a periscope zoom camera. Xiaomi 14 Series Rumors:
The model numbers of upcoming Xiaomi flagships have leaked. Xiaomi 14 goes by “23127PN0CC” in China and “23127PN0CG” in the global market, whereas the Xiaomi 14 Pro’s respective model numbers are “23116PN5BC” and “23116PN5BG”.
Display
First off, the display. Reliable tipster Ice Universe has leaked the possible renders of Xiaomi and 14 Pro’s screen. And it looks like Xiaomi has managed to trim down the already thin bezels of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Especially at the top and bottom.
Performance
According to rumors, the next Xiaomi flagships will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon Gen 3. This chip is scheduled to come out later in October, and the Xiaomi 14 lineup will probably be one of the first phones to use 8 Gen 3. Also, this 14 series will bring about up to 1TB of storage while the 13 series gave space limited to 512GB.
Other than this, these Xiaomi phones will also bear a faster USB 3.2 (Type-C, of course) protocol, which will also be able to connect up to a 4K external display. In the Xiaomi 13 lineup, only the Xiaomi 13 Ultra brings a USB 3.2 Type-C port while the rest of the phones equip a slower USB 2.0 Type-C connection.

Cameras
There are camera design leaks for the Xiaomi 14; it will get the squarish camera island placed at the top-left corners. And this time, it is rumored that the camera module will house 4 camera sensors. Reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 family will finally bring a 4K selfie video recording option. To note, no other Xiaomi phone so far (except the newly launched Xiaomi Civi 3) can record 4K videos from the front camera.
The main camera of the 14 series will get a larger sensor than the predecessor– a 50MP by 1/1.28-inches sensor up from 1/1.49-inches. On top of this, the Xiaomi 14 duo will also sport periscope zoom cameras. Yes, you read that right. The vanilla Xiaomi 14’s periscope camera will have a 90mm focal length and a 3.9x optical zoom, while the Pro model gets a 115mm sensor with 5x optical zoom. The next sensor is probably ultra-wide; while there is not much information on 4th sensor.
Battery
As for the battery, the regular Xiaomi 14 will get a 4,860mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging while, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will feature a 5,000mAh battery enabling 120W wired and 50W wireless charging.
Xiaomi 14 Series Launch and Availability
As per Digital Chat Station’s Weibo post, there is certainty that the 14 series will likely launch before November 11, which coincides with the popular Singles’ Day sales event (double 11).
