Recently, we saw the success of Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra in the Nepali market. To continue its streak, Xiaomi is expanding its 17 series with 17T in Nepal and plans to launch it by the end of May. This new phone from Xiaomi is expected to launch with an upgraded triple-camera setup and the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra Chip, compared to its predecessor. Starting with the Optics, Xiaomi continues its partnership with Leica and offers a triple-camera setup on the Xiaomi 17T. The back panel will have the 50MP f/1.7 primary sensor paired with a 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto lens and a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide sensor. The main difference in this setup might be the telephoto lens's 5x optical zoom, compared to the Xiaomi 15 T's. Both primary and telephoto lenses in this phone have OIS, so you can expect pretty good video stabilization and low-light photography.

Based on the gaming performance of the Poco X8 Pro, we can expect similar performance results from the new Xiaomi 17T.

Meanwhile, we'll see this guy booting on HyperOS 3 on top of Android 16. You might also get Xiaomi HyperConnect, the feature we recently saw on Xiaomi's latest flagship phone. Although the details of the upgrades will be unveiled on launch day, we can still expect 3 major OS updates and at least 4 years of security patches.
