While the Xiaomi 13 Pro was the star of Xiaomi’s launch event at MWC, the company also announced its latest TWS in the form of Buds 4 Pro. Here, we will run through the specifications, features, expected price, and availability of the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro in Nepal.

Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro Overview:

Design

For its latest flagship earbuds, Xiaomi has designed a space-inspired “Space Capsule” design. It measures 49.5 grams in weight and is available in two color options: Star Gold and Space Black.

Inside you get color-matching earbuds that weigh around 5.0 grams. So, they are pretty lightweight. As far as the look is concerned, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro carries on the in-ear design of its predecessor, but with a lot more curves on it. You get IP54 ratings on both the earbuds and charging case.

Audio Drivers and Connectivity

Inside of the Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro, you get second-gen dual-magnetic dynamic drivers with a diameter of 11mm. The frequency response of the earbuds ranges from 20Hz to 40kHz. You even get wireless Hi-Res audio, courtesy of the LHDC 4.0. You can also enjoy 96kHz audio transmission with Xiaomi’s latest flagships, including Xiaomi 12 Series and the new MIX Fold 2.

All of the functions of the Buds 4 Pro are controlled by an unspecified 12nm-based multi-core chip. The chip is said to improve computing performance as well as help reduce power consumption.

In terms of connectivity, Xiaomi’s latest flagship earbuds come with Bluetooth LE 5.3 on board with a wireless range of 10m. There is even support for simultaneous multi-device connections. Users can also customize the settings of the Buds 3 Pro using the Xiaomi headphones app.

Controls

Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro has pressure-sensitive controls on board that you can use to control playback, enable ANC and take calls. The earbuds even support voice commands that you can use for a number of functions such as volume adjustment and basic playback control.

Active Noise Cancelation

As expected from a flagship audio accessory, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro boasts advanced noise cancelation. According to the company, it can achieve a noise reduction depth of up to 48dB across a 4000Hz bandwidth. The earbuds can automatically switch between three levels of ANC based on the surrounding. Alternately, users can tweak the ANC using the six-control system offered by Xiaomi.

In addition to the ANC, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro offers three levels of transparency mode. In addition to the Standard transparency mode, the company has now introduced Voice Enhancement and Ambient Enhancement.

Rest of the Features

Xiaomi has installed six sensors inside the Buds 4 Pro that dynamically detects the movement of your head of 360-degree spatial audio. This feature is currently only available in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra and Mi Mix Fold 2, with promised expansion over other models.

For attending calls, Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro features a three-mic system connected to a bone voiceprint sensor. Combining this hardware setup with Xiaomi’s AI-based noise reduction algorithm, the buds are said to resist 32.4km/hr.

Battery and Charging

Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro claims 9 hours of music playback on a full charge and up to 38 hours with the charging case included. This is with the ANC turned off. Turning on the feature will reduce the battery endurance to 5 hours. The earbuds can be fully charged in 30 minutes. However, you can get up to 3 hours of playback with just 5 minutes of charging. The charging case is even compatible with Qi Wireless charging.
