There was a lot of hype for the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro on the internet. I mean, why wouldn't there be? The phone was linked with a then-unreleased Qualcomm chipset and LEICA optics. But does it walk the talk? Well, let's find out in this article where I'll be walking you through the design aspect, the raw power, Leica lens hardware, alongside expected price in Nepal and availability details of Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.
Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Overview
Design and Display
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro smartphone comes in a dirt-resistant leather back and features a metal frame in between the slightly curved front glass and the back. It has a left-aligned circular camera module that houses mouth-watering lenses from Leica that we will get into a little later. This phone ships in seven different finishes altogether three of which are limited edition. All the options except for the black one come in a dual-tone finish. On the other hand, the green variant has reflective patterns while the limited edition takes it up a notch by going with a black and contrasting vibrant color combination.

Moving on to the front, you get a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Additionally, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro comes with a 1.5K resolution with 460PPI pixel density. It is also a 12-bit screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, TÜV Rheinland certification, and a whopping peak brightness of 3,000 nits.
Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and...
The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro comes with the newly unveiled Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 under its hood. Matter of fact, it is the first phone to launch with this chipset just three days after it was announced. What's so special about this processor, you ask? Well, to keep it short — it comes in a similar architecture to the flagship 8 Gen 3 with a prime Cortex-X4 core and outdoes last's year top chip i.e. Snapdragon 8 Gen 2!
Furthermore, you get an LPDDR5X RAM of up to 16GB capacity while offering UFS 4.0 storage of up to 512GB. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro boots on the company's in-house HyperOS.
One of the headline makers of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is surely its cameras! It boasts a Leica Optical Summilux lens on its primary shooter, akin to the one found in the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Underneath, the phone includes a 50MP OmniVision Light Fusion 800 sensor. This combination makes the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro one of the most powerful photography phones in the market.
You also get two auxiliary cameras on this phone — both with Leica lenses. The first of which is a 50MP portrait camera that emulates a focal length of 50mm. Meanwhile, the other lens is a respectable 12MP ultrawide camera with a 120° field of view. On the front, you get two 32MP cameras, one of which is an ultrawide.
All the extra stuff
In the tank, you get a 4,700 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It also comes with five-way navigation support with BeiDou, GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, and QZSS. Talking of cellular connectivity, it offers dual SIM 5G support. In addition, it also has WiFi 6 along with Bluetooth 5.4 support.
