Xiaomi Pad 9 Price in Nepal and Availability

The Xiaomi Pad 9 has been officially introduced in China with a starting price of CNY 2,999 for the base 8/128GB variant. The 8/256GB model costs CNY 3,299, whereas the 8/256GB Soft Light Edition is priced at CNY 3,499. Meanwhile, the top-end 12/256GB version costs CNY 3,799.

Xiaomi has not yet announced any information regarding its availability in the local market. However, if it is launched here, we expect the Xiaomi Pad 9 price in Nepal to be around NPR 68,499.

Should You Upgrade to the Xiaomi Pad 9 from the Pad 8?

If you already own the Pad 8, the Xiaomi Pad 9 doesn't really bring enough changes to make an immediate upgrade necessary. The core hardware remains largely the same, including the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset and 11.2-inch 3.2K 144Hz display.

The upgrades are mostly around the edges: a slightly larger battery, up to 12GB RAM, newer software, Bluetooth 6.0, and the new Matte Edition. Xiaomi has also added more productivity-focused features, which could matter if you use your tablet for work or study.

For new buyers, the Xiaomi Pad 9 could be a decent choice. But I can't say that for someone wanting to upgrade. Well, ultimately, the Nepal pricing will also determine how compelling the upgrade is.
