Best Budget Laptops Under 100000 in Nepal 2025 1 Lakh

If you are looking for the best laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal, we have covered all the top options in this article. As you might know, laptop prices have been on the rise lately, thanks to the global RAM shortage. So, unfortunately, we have had to exclude some excellent laptops like the Acer Aspire 14 AI with Intel's “Lunar Lake” chip, since it retails for nearly NPR 110,000 these days. Anyway, let's now check out our top picks for the best laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal.

How to find the best laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal?

For a budget of 1 lakh rupees, all the laptops we've listed have decent performance, a nice build quality, a nice display, and pretty great battery life. So if you're a school or +2 student, an office worker, or a business owner who wants a decent budget laptop for light, everyday work, these options should fit you just fine. These laptops can also handle things like light photo editing and beginner-level coding projects, but that's the extent of their performance. And for a decent multitasking experience, all the laptops we've listed have at least 16GB of memory as well.

Note: In this list, we have also included a few of the best laptops priced above NPR 1 lakh but not by much. We have done this so you can further curate your choices and ensure you don’t miss any good deals by spending an additional NPR 5,000. The prices of such products are marked with an asterisk (*) at the end.

      3. Asus Vivobook 14 (2025)

So we're kicking off this list of the best budget laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal with the Asus Vivobook 14. Which is powered by Qualcomm's “Snapdragon X” processor instead of an Intel or AMD CPU. In case you didn't know, these Snapdragon chips are based on the "Arm" architecture instead of the traditional “x86” architecture of Intel/AMD laptops. Just like Apple silicon on the newer MacBooks

And while “Windows on Arm” didn't offer a polished experience a few years ago, Microsoft has made incredible leaps lately. So, for casual users, the Vivobook 14 should be an excellent pick. It's so easy to carry around, it has a nice 14" display with 300 nits of brightness, and despite a relatively small 50Wh battery, the Asus Vivobook 14 should give you an all-day battery life as well since that Snapdragon X chip is ridiculously power-efficient.

In terms of performance, the Vivobook 14 delivers a snappy and responsive experience in your day-to-day chores. From web browsing to media consumption, this laptop could be the perfect fit for your workload. A lot of mainstream apps are now available with a native “Arm” version too for the best experience, although some legacy apps might have some trouble running through the “Prism” translation layer built into Windows. So before you decide on this Snapdragon machine, you'll need to make sure the apps you plan on using run well here.

      2. Acer Aspire Lite 15 (2025)

Next up is the Acer Aspire Lite 15. And the best thing about this laptop is definitely its processor, since Acer has used AMD's Ryzen 5 8640HS chip. It has a 6-core / 12-thread CPU setup and an “Radeon 760M” integrated GPU. This Ryzen processor has great CPU performance and class-leading GPU performance. So, besides all the casual workflow, if you plan on running apps that require a bit more GPU horsepower, like editing photos on Photoshop, running 4K video streams, or even playing some light games to pass the time, the Aspire Lite 15 is the one you'd want.

Other than this, the Aspire Lite 15 features a 15.6-inch IPS display with an FHD resolution and a typical 16:9 aspect ratio. It's got a matte coating as well to minimize reflection from ambient light, but we gotta admit that the display is not the strongest suit of this laptop.

And because that AMD chip is quite power-efficient too, you can expect excellent battery life on the Aspire Lite 15. This laptop also has a decent port selection with one USB 4 (Type-C), two USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A), and one HDMI 2.1 port. Whereas you get a proper backlit keyboard here, on top of a 1080p webcam, and WiFi 6 connectivity.

Acer Aspire Lite 15 (2025) Specifications:
      Display15.6-inch TFT LCD panel, FHD (1920 x 1080 pixels), 60Hz refresh rate

      1. Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (2025)

Finally, our top pick on this list of best budget laptops under 1 lakh in Nepal is the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5. This is a big 16-inch laptop, making it an especially interesting option for those who do a lot of web browsing, content writing, stock market trading, and the like. What's interesting is that it has a tall 16:10 aspect ratio, and it's also a touchscreen. So if you want a budget laptop with a versatile display under 1 lakh, the IdeaPad Slim 5 is probably the best option for you.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 - Design

Since Lenovo went with Intel's new Core 5 210H processor, its performance is some of the best in the segment as well. To be fair, the battery life isn't the best here since that Intel chip is not as efficient as Snapdragon X on the Asus Vivobook 14 or AMD's Ryzen 5 8640HS on the Acer Aspire Lite 15. But you can still expect it to go through a full workday under light workload, thanks to its 50Wh battery.

The IdeaPad Slim 5 is one of the nicest-looking budget laptops we've seen as well. It's available in a single “Cosmic Blue” finish, which looks particularly beautiful. That said, Lenovo could've done a better job with port selection here since it doesn't have a single Thunderbolt or USB 4 connection. At least it has a pretty great keyboard with a nice 1.4mm travel and even backlighting across all the keys. You also get a pretty large trackpad here, while those working in accounting are definitely gonna find its Numpad super useful as well.

Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (2025) Specifications:
      Display16-inch IPS panel, WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels), 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits, 45% NTSC
      CPUIntel Core 5 210H (8C/12T, up to 4.8 GHz)
