Realme: Brand Overview

Realme is one of the newest yet most impactful players in the smartphone space. Founded in 2018, Realme started out as a sub-brand of OPPO eventually venturing off as its own brand. It is a Chinese consumer electronics brand with the "dare to leap" primarily focused on smartphones and complementary devices. Realme was initially founded to rival Xiaomi's Redmi lineup both of which target youths and millennials with budget-friendly feature-rich smartphones. Today Realme's number series is a direct competitor to Redmi's Note lineup of smartphones. Alongside that, they also have flagships and Narzo devices which serve their respective niches as well. Realme re-entered Nepal in August 2021 with Shankar Group as their new ND. To prevent the same mistakes, Shankar Group promised aggressive pricing among other things.

Good entry-level phones are hard to come by, and that is where Realme C phones come in. The Realme C series focuses more on what light users might want from their phones. As such, they have huge batteries and large screens to provide a good user experience. They can click decent phones, especially in broad daylight, and come with the all basics. But they do lack the raw horsepower for more demanding tasks like gaming or editing on your device.

Realme Number Series

Realme Number Series is by far the most popular among Nepalese youths. Like Redmi Note devices, they are priced aggressively and provide great value for your money. Moreover, they are affordable too. Most Realme Number phones cost under NPR 40,000 and come with good performance, great battery life, large displays, and trendy new features. However, if you do want the top-of-the-line, Realme Pro phones are there too.

Realme Narzo Series

For those looking to stand out from the crowd, Realme offers the Narzo Series. They often feature distinct design traits paired with good specifications. Like other Redmi phones, they are affordable as well but they are targeted more towards budget users. So if you're someone looking to get an entry level-smartphone with great aesthetic, smooth displays, and great battery life, you should definitely consider Narzo devices.

Realme GT Series 

But what about flagships you say? Realme's got that covered as well. GT Series includes Realme's higher-end devices. Like other Realme phones, they have an eye-catching design, but this time paired with a more powerful SOC and other bells and whistles. They offer improvements in cameras, performance, and charging speeds.
