CMF is a sub-brand of Nothing that focuses on making affordable products. The company only offers smartphone accessories — so far. It appears the Nothing sub-brand is finally stepping into the handheld territory and we’re here to discuss all that we know of the CMF Phone so far.

Certification
The CMF Phone made its appearance in the BIS database — an Indian certification site with the model number “A015”. Initially, the model number was thought to be the third phone from Nothing. However, it turns out to not be the case.
What might?
As I mentioned earlier, CMF is a sub-brand of Nothing and is easy on your pocket. Other than that, the company — just like its parent brand — heavily focuses on the design of its product. Thus, we can expect to see a similar trend on CMF Phones as well.
Design and Build
That being said, the CMF Phone should carry over the iconic glyphs from its more expensive compatriots. But, how will it be executed needs to be seen. Maybe something like what we saw on the Tecno Pova 6 Pro, perhaps?
Additionally, the company might choose to go with cheaper materials for the phone to keep the prices of the phone low. Thus, it will not be surprising if we see an all-plastic build on the CMF Phone. Meanwhile, on the front, it might go with an IPS LCD panel.

Performance
Recently, the Nothing launched an affordable phone of its own in the form of Phone (2a). This phone packed the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro for its primary processing. The CMF Phone might pack the same chipset as well or something low-performance like the new Dimensity 6300.
Apart from that, we can expect the standard 8GB + 128GB memory and storage combination. In the tank, it should once again pack the standard 5,000 mAh battery. The cameras on the CMF Phone might have a 50MP primary sensor coupled with an 8MP ultrawide shooter.
CMF Phone Launch and Conclusion
The CMF Phone has already made its appearance on certification sites, and it’s only a matter of time before it makes its full-time debut. Moreover, phones that have surfaced in a similar fashion normally make their appearance within a year. Hence, we can expect the CMF Phone within the next year.
All the things I mentioned above are speculations at the end of the day. So, take that with a grain of salt, if you will.
