Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 FE just a few months earlier, and it was quite a unit (check review). Now, recent developments suggest that the company is gearing up for the 2024 iteration. Let’s discuss all that we know of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE in this article.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Rumours Round-up
Some display components…
In all honesty, we do not have much information on the phone at the moment. The rumours stem from what we heard from a supply chain source in Korea. The said source is apparently producing some of the display components for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
Moreover, the company says it has begun mass-producing the said component and the volume is reportedly in the millions. This suggests that the 2024 FE is also being manufactured in similar numbers.

What to expect?
So the phone is under production, but, what to expect from it? Well, not even a single rumoured spec of the phone has surfaced yet. However, we can always get the speculation game going, can’t we?
Design and Display
Design-wise, Samsung has already reached its final destination. So, we will obviously not see any changes here. Except for maybe the inclusion of the “Key Island” thingy. It is basically just a protrusion that houses all the control keys i.e. the volume rockers and the power button. We saw this island being integrated into the Galaxy A series devices, starting from the A15 all the way to the A55. Now, the Galaxy 2024 S series smartphones do not have anything like this. But maybe, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will be the first?
Meanwhile, the display will definitely be the same Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with an Infinity-O cutout. We might see a minimal increase in the size to 6.6 inches from the 6.4 inches on the S23 FE. Other than that, the bezels of the phone should see some reduction and symmetry as well. Furthermore, the screen should don the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection like its A35 and A55 compatriots.
Ahem… Exynos!
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE came with the Exynos 2200 chipset under the helm. Now with the talks of even the high-end S series phones integrating Samsung’s in-house silicon from 2025, it’s almost a no-brainer that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE will do the same. However, the question is which one of the Exynos will it be?
The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could feature the same old Exynos 2200 as its predecessor. Or it could opt for the improved Exynos 2400 as the base, and + models of Galaxy S24. It will likely be the latter one because Samsung has to introduce the Galaxy AI to the FE lineup too! And for that, the 2400 is better suited for.
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Launch and Availability
I have already established that Samsung is ramping up the production of the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE. Now the question remains, when is it launching? And the answer to that might be very soon. As soon as in the Galaxy Unpacked event rumoured to happen in July!
If that is the case then, the 2024 FE will share the stage with the likes of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, the Galaxy Watch 7 series, and even the Galaxy Ring. Samsung isn’t holding back this time, it seems!
