Dell has refreshed its popular XPS 13 Plus lineup with newer 13th Gen Intel processors in Nepal. Just like its predecessor, the newer XPS 13 Plus boasts a high-resolution OLED display with a slim design profile. Design and Display
The XPS lineup is renowned for its ultracompact and modern profile and the new XPS 13 Plus is no exception. It features an all-aluminum premium-feeling build. Despite that, the ultrabook only weighs about 1.26 kg and measures 0.6” at its thinnest point. The newer XPS carries the design language from its predecessor with the ‘Zero-lattice’ keyboard and invisible trackpad. While that makes the device look minimal and futuristic, it may take some getting used to.
As for the display, Dell offers three different resolutions: FHD+, 3.5K, and UHD+. The base FHD+ (1920×1200) and UHD+ (3840×2400) panels are IPS displays while the 3.5k (3456×2160) that has made its way here is an OLED one. The 13.4” touchscreen refreshes at 60Hz and can hit up to 400 nits of brightness. It features minimal bezels with the 720p webcam (with Windows Hello) housed up top.
Performance and Memory
Under the hood, the new XPS 13 Plus (2023) is up to “2x more powerful” according to Dell. It features Intel’s 13th Gen Core i7-1360P processor. This 12-core (4P + 8E) 16-thread processor boasts base and boost frequencies of 3.70 GHz and 5.0 GHz respectively. Moving on to the memory, Dell offers up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM at 6000 MT/s but only the 16GB variant is currently available in Nepal. Alongside, that you can choose for up to a 2TB M.2 SSD.

In the tank, the XPS 13 Plus (2023) has the same 55Wh battery as its 2022 counterpart. So, naturally, just like its predecessor, the newer XPS 13 Plus can be charged to 80% in less than an hour with the provided 60W AC adapter. And the port selection is no different.
